Loved it. This place uses gluten free flour and the food is absolutely amazing. We got great service and they were very knowledgeable.Dietary restrictions: They use gluten-free flour only and they offer a gluten-free bread options. They do have products and bread that have gluten in them.Parking: It's in a strip mall.

Went in on Sunday for lunch and we went there for first time and to check out for a potential caterer for my daughter’s wedding. The dining room was filthy I assume from night before. And the temperature was cold! About 50 degrees. Customers were so cold they said their food was getting cold quick. Bathroom was about 15 degrees colder! An employee came out and said it was because they smoke meat and they have fans becoase it gets hot. This would have nothing to do with the dining room ventilation and if it does it needs fixed!! Very uncomfortableThe food… very underwhelming, no seasoning or smoke at all! We purchased brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken. Chicken was only meat that tasted like smoke but no seasoning! Baked beans was an opened can of beans and warmed, mashed potatoes tasted like instant box from ALDIs. Gross. Green beans was the only side dish that was good and I would eat again. My husband ordered Caesar salad with grilled chicken and got fried chicken. Which was the only meat we liked! Definitely would not recommend this place.

Had to wait 40 min in line to place your order. Then wait for it to be made( which was about 20 min.) The restaurant was cold like turn the dam heat on.

I ordered online at a store called "Wattles" for chicken.Followed GPS and let me at a store called "Huckabee's Smokehouse".Unbeknownst to me Wattles is the online chicken store, but you can't order BBQ.Huckabee's sells BBQ and fried chicken.Ok, once I figured this out, thank you "Melinda", I got the best fried chicken on the Southside of Indianapolis. The portions were humongous.Food was delicious.Worth going to.Tell Melinda, "Hey, Baby!"?

A piece of carpet flooring was stuck to my garlic bread. The Mac and cheese with bacon had grey bacon and seemed like it came from under a day of sitting under a heat lamp and green beans were

We loved this place when it was on smith valley, since it moved it has not been the same, the food is still very good, but the online menu is not often accurate with in store. Service is extremely slow even when not busy. Many times sides are not available as well. Still a great value for what you get, just wish it was like the old days

The ribs are good and meaty. The Brisket on the other hand it “Outstanding!” Soft and perfectly juicy. Everyone here is super friendly. You are always greeted with a friendly smile. I took home brisket on Wednesday and there was more than enough to make Brisket Tortillas to take on the road with me Thursday.Tucked in behind the Four Seasons, this is easy in and out with plenty of parking. A+

Quality SOUTHERN BBQ, my husband and I had the brisket nachos and followed with the double cheeseburger and pulled pork sandwich. Melt in your mouth, tender brisket that has just the right smoked taste to it. The pulled pork was super juicy and tender, and they do not joke around on portion size! I can make a whole new sandwich with the meat left over. And my husband's double cheeseburger was so mouthwatering that I second guessed my decision and we will have to go back just so I can try those fat cheesey patties! And the people working there are definitely part of the community working hard to get you a great meal. They also have interesting dishes for everyone that's looking for BBQ but not pork ! 10 out of 5 stars!!!

When you first walk in you are greeted my Melinda. She is absolutely wonderful. She our first experience very memorable. I had the swordfish which was outstanding. Hubby had brisket pork and brats. They also had Alabama white sauce that I haven’t had in 50 yrs. Brought back memories. ? we will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: TVs were on. The kids there seemed happy.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables were big enough to put a wheelchair up to and it’s a wide open space.

The side dishes tasted like they came from a bulk deli and our meat seemed to be whatever was leftover with the most fat. Made me sad because I was hoping it would be awesome. Didn't really like the unsanitary why you get your own sauces either. The lady at the counter was really nice though!

Edited: I have never visited when it smelled like a smokehouse. Usually smells like scented cleaners which always strikes me as unexpected. Great setup for a fine dining experience. The brisket was overcooked on first 2 visits. Undercooked and tough last visit. Truly disappointed. I live nearby and was glad to see this open. Coleslaw was GFS tasting. Not bad but nothing special. This has all the makings of a great place. The fried chicken has a great breading but zero spices. Friday is buy one get one free so we ordered extra to take home prior to tasting and found one leg tasted wrong (spoiled) after we got home. The garlic toast was nice but they forgot the garlic and didn't flip it so one side was soft and the other was nicely toasted. Cheddar Mac was good. Great size for large parties and I was told the chicken is cooked to order (not sitting around under a heat lamp) and it was cooked to order you can tell by the crispy breading. So close to greatness yet just missing the mark slightly. Things seem to taste different at different times. I wonder if the cooks are all following the same recipe after several visits. I know it's still 'newish' so maybe they are still experimenting? Added a star for owner response. Glad to see they want the info.

Food was alright but he yelled at his employees right in front of us….. not classy at all. The way he talked to those employees I will never recommend this place.
