Poorly run business with bad service. Food is pretty good, but they need a new manager to run this place. We were told table would be ready in 10-20 minutes. Seated an hour later and when they led us to the table the place was half empty with clean tables. Really a shame they don't know how to run a restaurant. Won't be bringing guests from out of town here again.

We ate dinner here around 5:30 today. They were not crowded at all. Were greeted and seated but waited over 10 minutes at least before a waitress brought us menus and then another long wait before she came back for our order. My husband order a brisket dinner and I ordered a pulled pork dinner. They were served very quickly but the food was lukewarm at best. The baked potatoes were shriveled like they'd been baked in advance of the dinner hour and then microwaved. But the worst was the meats that were served. Neither the brisket or the pork had any seasoning or smoked flavor and were completely tasteless. I was sooo disappointed in this restaurant's food! City BBQ's food has this restaurant's food beat by miles!!! We won't be returning.

Saturday April 6th 2024 We came for dinner. Got our drinks. Told server we needed 2 minutes. We waited almost 15 minutes for server to return. Wife ordered pulled pork & I ordered the brisket. Both meats as well as our baked potatoes were not hot and at best were tepid. My wife and I both agreed that our meats weren't at all flavorful. I very rarely ever use a bbq sauce because I enjoy the Smokey flavor of the meat. It wasn't smoked long enough or just a bad cut of meat. Anyway, the meal was very disappointing. This isn't my first review of this restaurant. We last ate there in 2018 and that meal was as dismal as the one we had tonight. Back then they asked me to contact them after they saw my review and they would make better. I contacted the person at the email but I never heard back from them. Regardless, we are done patronizing this restaurant and just hope they can learn from this and the prior review and make the necessary corrections. Save your time and go to City BBQ. They have the best BBQ in the city.

Who is keeping Smokey Bones open? Hubby and I are running out of places to eat out. Same ol, same ol type of food. So we couldn't decide and I was like hey I haven't been to Smokey Bones in like 20 years....so we tried them. They're absolutely mediocre. It's like Cheddars for BBQ but 30% more expensive. Like, it's fine but it's not good. We will not be going here again anytime soon.

Really disappointed at this location, bartender was slow at his job. Not attentive at all. Took us 10 mins to get out first drink an sorry for a Saturday night at 8 the place was not. Just at all. There a gentleman that was standing between the bar and the grill that was very loud an really didn't have a muzzle on his mouth an some of the stuff he was saying or talking about was offensive not to me but some sitting in ear shit an as loud as he talked that includes most of the resturuant , the cooks look scattered plates was being set up an incomplete orders. Just look like a bunch of confusion. Took us an awhile to get our food which was the charcoal cooked sampler for 2 food was good vegetables were over cooked the rest of the meat was cool. Just a terrible experience all around. I'd be careful hate to see if it was busy

Very slow service. The server actually yawned while taking an order. I ordered a Buffalo Crispy Chicken sandwich. It was crispy! The Buffalo sauce & seasoning were left in the fryer. Robert Irwine's image is on menu advertising the BBQ, I wonder if he's been to the Greenwood location. Maybe he should visit before this location closes.
