Arrived at 12:15. They close at 1.The 5 of us enjoyed our meals.Onion Rings were large and tasty.French Toast cones with butter on it says the waitress.Should have stick to asking to getting the extra butter against her inference that I might be making a mistake. They were a little dry even with loads of syrup on them.Would stop in again even though we are just here to go to a wedding at New Harmony Conference Center.

This is a classic diner, located in the old Depot in Griffin, just off I-64. Breakfasts are amazing, and the pancakes are ENORMOUS! Service is laid back and casual: pay up front when you're done, and help yourself to coffee. They serve lunch and dinner, as well; just don't go there if you want to leave hungry, as the portions are generous!

The food was delicious. The service was great even though the place was full. The portions are large which was very nice. The room had some peeling paint and could use a little TLC. The kitchen leaked a little smoke from cooking into the dining room. But overall, it was great food and should be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I would go there again. My wife’s cheese omelette was wonderful. I had a ham and cheese. It was excellent also.
Definitely a cool spot to visit! Food was great! Service was a slight miss, though, unfortunately.. you'd think a place like this, the waitress would be friendly... ours was not so much. Still recommend a visit. ➡️Also, before leaving town, go north a few blocks to see a cool old gas & service station!!
