Messed up my order to start off. Then their menu prices are not accurate they charged me double for the 2oz coleslaw. They took 30 minutes which is understandable but the place is dirty. It smelled like they smoke cigarettes in the restaurant!!! I came to support because I heard it’s black owned but they give black owned a bad name. Nothing like the REAL Harold’s of Chicago. Update I tried the coleslaw and it was mostly sugar and watery!!!! The worst coleslaw ever

When did they start charging to put mild sauce and lemon pepper on the wings then they hardly put any on there. No mild sauce at all on my fries and hardly any lemon pepper! Chicken was bland af! I’m from Chicago so I know about Harold’s. Disappointed is an understatement.

Closed randomly at 8:20 p.m. right as I pulled up. Phone number to the restaurant goes to a full voicemail box. They're posted as open til 10 pm. Is the food good? I have no way to know.

If I can give this Harold’s a zero I truly would. Not only was the owner OBVIOUSLY fighting with his girl or whomever being extremely unprofessional, the wait was over an hour long. Called in the order they said 45 minutes.. go in 40 it was an additional 25 minutes .. I’m guessing because of the argument idk … gets home, asked for sauce on my 6 piece, extra sauce at that.. not a lick of sauce no where.. AND it was a 5 piece not 6… PLEASE go back to Illinois with that.. I just knew y’all was going to better than Grant, literally have NOTHING on them and they come with attitudes smh ..

Horrible! I placed my order for pickup on dd. Was told my order still had 8 ahead of me even though dd said it was ready. Then I was called Johnathan several times my name is Jacinta. Told my order was incorrect. I ordered for my food to be fried hard with mild on my fries and extra mild on the side. Was basically told it was not on the order with an attitude. Asked how much for mild, then put very little sauce on my maybe 5 fries. I didn't say anything cause at that point I just wanted to leave. Just to get home, eat a fry and started screaming! IT WAS HOT SAUCE!! I can't have ANYTHING spicy whatsoever! I'm beyond pissed about wasting my money. I will NEVER return here. I've never had a problem before the management changed over. They even knew my order by heart

The resturant itself is a "hole in the wall" and it needs to be cleaned (vents especially). The customer service was excellent! There are no take out menus, so I had to take a picture of the menu on the wall. I ordered a 1/2 chicken dark with a side of fried mushrooms and it took about 30mins. It was hot and fresh! The mushrooms didnt have any flavor though. The price I paid for the amount of food I received was great. Could give more mild sauce when actually on chicken. I did not receive any napkins or utensils with my order.

Family just leaving your restaurant and very displease with the cold chicken that was allegedy freshly dropped. The tall back man that took the order need to retrain hisstaff. Especially when your cook is making statement that he's not talking phone orders, while the allegedly owner is engaging with the cookie lady that selling inside Harold's lobby.

Always clean with great customer service. I go almost every day and the food is consistent. Always cooked fresh. THATS why the wait is 25-30 minutes because it’s always fresh.

I door dashed a 16pc mixed, mozzarella sticks, and a large fry. The Order arrived on time and sealed but the fries were missing. Call DoorDash to see if I could get my fries delivered but the restaurant stopped taking door dash orders so door dash refunded my money for the fries. I was informed by door dash that the restaurant sealed the bag not allowing the dasher to check for order accuracy. Also, me receipt specifically asks for mild sauce on the side. They gave me 2 small cups for 16 pieces of chicken and mozzarella sticks. Not only that. The chicken skin was soggy. It’s sad that you have to over tip the dasher up front just so the order will be accepted only to not get all your food and no option of redelivery. This whole experience was trash and I do not recommend this Harold’s location nor Door dash.
