Honestly was nervous going in but everyone made me feel welcomed. One guy was coming onto me a little too hard while I was with my bf but everyone was extremely nice. The bartender Mary is awesome as well.We will definitely be coming back!!!

This was my first gay bar experience before I moved to Chicago then New York in the late 90s. In my youth this was a wild place. I met my first gay hookup here, one of many, when I was young. After exploring the world a bit, I recently came back here. The bar is tame by city gay standards, and the bartenders that I met are local. That being said, they and the bar are charming. The two bartenders I met remind me of being a young Midwestern gay man because they are friendly without an ounce if bitchiness. The feel here is very old school gay. Like "we are gay, proud, but be quiet about it." For those that understand that gay isn't accepted everywhere, this is a fun place. The guys are mostly locals so their mentality is a mix between "I'm gay" and "I'm middle america!" You have a lot of Midwestern values here so if you are from the city be respectful. Overall, a great glimpse into gay culture outside of gay culture.

Although the drinks and prices are good I can’t go to this bar because of all the cigarette smoke and cause me to have asthma problems.

It's nice to have a few gay bars to choose from this one's kinda far but it's better then going to the city everynight I don't much care to go to KRAVE I always run into people I don't want to see lol...
