Just ordered two steak sandwiches and a gyros plate. Nasty. No taste. Nothing like the picture display. Never ever will I order here again. Waste of 40 dollars.

Really enjoy the food, come here regularly- but honestly, i'm going to stop in the summer. I come in on my lunch break, but the last few times I've had to leave. IT'S SO HOT IN THERE! Owner is probably trying to save a buck (at the expense of his employees) and comfort of his customers. Just brutal. It was 95 out today, and when I walked out it felt like a refrigerator!I'll try one more time in the near future. If it's still blazing hot in there next time this changes to a 1-star review

Very nice staff and fast service. Not a fan of the rice but the fries were great. Had the steak burrito. It was good. Will be back to try other things. Reminds me of a old hotdog place in Hammond.

Been coming here for decades now. Always great food. Although the way they prep their steak burritos has slightly changed still great. They used to have competition with "Tacos and Burritos" but it closed down so these guys are the tops.Parking: Lots of spots.Wheelchair accessibility: No high curbs

If zero stars was an option, I would have it done as a Chicago native that grew up on the southside of Chicago eating Jackie's and Nickys once or twice or even sometimes three times a week. I moved to the Griffin, Indiana area a few months ago, and I went into this place, and I was absolutely disappointed. The man that takes the order at the front might just suffer with bipolar depression. He was very nice at the beginning, and then all of a sudden his whole mood just changed and he gave us a complete attitude and dirty looks the whole time we was there. For example, when we ordered, he was helpful even though he talks very low and you can barely understand him second we ordered cheese sticks and he did not put them in the order even though he charged us for them we had to pay for them twice and when the food was finally ready after about 45 minutes it was a horrible disappointment. I ordered a steak burrito and the steak was very loose as if it was hamburger it was filled with beans and may be just about a quarter of meat and it tasted like it was left out for days even though it took 45 minutes to be made, the beans completely hurt my stomach I was unable to go to work the next day because of this and also, he also forgot my chips for the beans even though I did order them and he was sitting there arguing with me that I didn't when I know that I did, and he also charge me for them so whatever I don't care I paid for them just because I want them he charge me $3.50 for maybe a handful of chips. They were completely stale and tasted like plastic. The beans almost tasted like tomato paste. Please do not go here. It is absolutely horrific, the service is terrible. The food is even worse than the service. I paid $50 and some change for a guy roll platter and a steak burrito dinner and an order of mozzarella sticks and an order of chips will not be going back ever and will be calling the health department because of the dirty floors.

Amazing Chicago style & Mexican food plus more. Amazing, friendly owner for the last 30 years and the same amazing cook for the last 25 years! Wonderful staff and food! ?

We have been coming here since they were Taco Castle in So Holland. Service has been going down Hill. Last few orders Chicken burrito has been fatty. We received a gift certificate as a gift because it was one of our favorite places to eat. Person that gave it to us said he was informed of course after the purchase that the recipient would only have a month to redeem. Not really a lot of time. We live a good 45 minutes away and with traffic can be up to an hour. We arrived at 6:27 one time and were told we would have to take it to go as they stop taking eat in at 6:30 because they close at 7. That’s ok S & B. We went across the street to Asada we’re they know how to treat loyal customers!! See you rarely from now on!!
