This place has the best sugar cream pie I've ever had in my life! Granted, I had never tried any others first. I've tried 2 other sugar cream pies from other places and I wanted to puke. I can go to nicks and get my pie..... that I hide so I can have it all to myself . They have great breakfast and I love the coffee. It's something about the small town diner coffee that makes it better than anywhere else.
Really disappointed with the tenderloin. I thought Nick's was the tentenderloin mecca of Indiana. Not that it was bad -- it was just average.Nice diner ambiance. Service from Heather was excellent.We'll be back to try another dish. Nice selection

The food was excellent and you won't leave hungry. The apple dumpling was great. Good service. Got to meet the previous owner. Such a nice lady. She's one of a kind. I will be back. Wish I would've came here sooner.
