The food is good but they never order enough of anything. I have been here 6 times the first time I had okra and since they never seem to have it. Today we tried to order 2 drinks. Surprise surprise they didn't have

Aroma is consistently good. The prices are a little higher than at other Indian restaurants, but the serving portions are generous and the food is always tasty.I've been here several times and have had the goat curry, lamb, chicken, etc. I haven't had a dish that disappointed. I'm a big fan of the samosas and garlic naan. They are must-haves for whatever you pick.

The food was delicious! I asked for medium heat and my eyes were watering by the second bite! The chairs, tables, and dishes are all in need of upgrades. They do look worn, but I definitely enjoyed the experience!

Food was excessively oily.I am of Indian background and understand Indian food always has added oil, but this was to the point where it interfered with the taste of the food. Also, asked for very spicy (which they call Indian Hot) but food was not spicy at all.Only reason for 3 stars is the people were VERY nice.

I visited Aroma on a friend's recommendation. I am allergic to nuts. I guess I don't know much about Indian food but there was no labels or warnings about food allergens on any menu items. 3 bites in, my throat started to feel funny. I asked the waiter if it had nuts to which he stated NO to 3 times then asked if he could remake it without nuts. What??? PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU HAVE NUT ALLERGY.
Our go to Indian restaurant in downtown! The food and overall service is great too.Food: Have tried quite a few dishes from their menu and all of them have been great. Our favourites from appetiser is paneer cheese balls, entree would be butter chicken and paneer tikka masala with butter garlic naanService: Super courteous and friendly staff! The food comes in quickly and quite fresh.Ambience: Nice setup and really lovely ambience.
So my wife ordered food from here for pick up. When our food was coming out, she saw the chef pull our rice from the microwave... We ordered three dishes. Buttered chicken was good, but the naan bread was hard as a rock. I do realize we ordered an hour before close, but food service could be better.

I’m very surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. I can’t say I know authentic Indian food well, but this is most definitely one of the better tasting Indian options in Indianapolis. And the complaints about the pricing were especially surprising…$15 for a plate of quality chicken and rice is pretty hard to beat when eating downtown unless you’re looking for bar food or fast food haha. And the added 18% gratuity is less than the average 20% that most people tip, so that doesn’t bother me at all. Even when service is horrendous, the lowest I ever tip is 15% and our service was perfectly fine here. I applaud the cuisine and service and will be back anytime I’m craving Indian food downtown.

Came in around 4PM. Since we were their only table, the heat was off. The waiter was an absolute joke. When he brought our food, he told us to figure out who’s dish was who’s and was also talking to someone on his cellphone when our food was ready and we could see it on the
