Knowledgeable and attentive service staff. Quality, locality of foods, menu creativity - always ??? Must-go, and my favorite place in Indy for dinner and special occasions.

This was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and great. The menu is creative. The food was delicious. We tried the tasting menu to experience a little bit of everything. They also have an a la carte menu. The ice cream is also amazing. Beholder is one of our new favorites and we will return.

Hipster vibes in a classy venue with good food. Definitely adding it to the list of date night locations. We stopped by for a dinner date during Devour Indy, so we got to try the tasting menu! Overall, the food was either decent or delicious. I highly recommend getting the Chocolate Rosemary Ice Cream at the end!⚠️ TIP: Do yourself a favor and choose high table or chef side seating because the small side room we sat in with the regular, dining tables was lackluster for ambiance. It is quieter but there's not much to look at. The main attraction and overall energy of restaurant is in the main room or at least the main side room where the wine is stored.STARTERSWe started with the Grilled Escarole Caesar Salad and Spicy Tuna Handroll. The salad was more of a veggie steak that you needed to eat using a fork and knife. It was definitely filling. I liked the taste of it (savory) but my partner and I agreed that it was slightly too salty. The tuna Handroll was decent but nothing special.ENTREEWe got Grilled Beef Terres Major which was deliciously seasoned and a perfectly juicy medium rare we were obsessed with the pureed/mashed sweet potato that was so light. We also got the Great Lakes Walleye which was delicious. The skin was crispy and the fish was cooked well and fell apart and not dry at all. It came with tartar sauce on the side but I found it completely unnecessary since the fish was seasoned well. The potato wedges that came with the fish were filling and rustic. Ketchup came with the dish for the potatoes which is a plus in my book.DESSERTPancake Ice Cream was vanilla with some nuts but lacked a strong pancake taste. Chocolate Rosemary Ice Cream though knocked it out of the park! Creamy and the added rosemary made it feel like I was eating an Italian, chocolate baked good. Highly recommend!BATHROOMThere are two bathrooms. They are stand alone (private) and gender neutral.Parking: Limited parking spaces in lot but you can park in the adjacent parking lot of the Family DollarKid-friendliness: Leave the kids at home. This is a place for adult drinks and dates.

I must express my sincere disappointment with the dining experience at this restaurant. Regrettably, the tasting menu left much to be desired, as it failed to satisfy even the most basic expectations of a fulfilling meal. The portion sizes were shockingly minuscule, rendering the entire experience more akin to a fleeting appetizer than a substantial dining affair.Adding to the frustration was the excruciatingly long waiting time, exceeding a staggering 2 hours. This prolonged delay, coupled with the sight of neighboring tables vacating long before ours, further soured the overall impression. It was disheartening to witness others completing their meals while we endured an unjustifiable delay.Despite the premium price tag of approximately $90 per person for the tasting menu, the value delivered was sorely lacking. Comparable establishments offer more generous portions and a more satisfying culinary journey at similar or even lower prices. In all honesty, this dining experience fell far short of expectations, and the exorbitant cost did not align with the underwhelming outcome. I sincerely hope that the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and endeavors to improve the quality of its offerings and service for future patrons.

One of my favorite meals I've ever had, but the staff pushed this over the top. Thanks to the team for the great experience!

This place has a great ambiance to it. The food melted in your mouth, the drinks came out quick. I highly recommend the ravioli. I tried everyone’s dishes and this by far was the best! Whenever I go back to Indy, I’ll have to stop by again.Parking: Parking was plentiful and right in front of the restaurant.

All four of us enjoyed the experience. Our delightful server was both knowledgeable and helpful. The menu was challenging if only to decide what to pick. Each of us were happy with our selections. We look forward to returning so we can pick our alternate entre'.

Bold, innovative, and unique. Beholder utilizes adventurous combinations of flavors and textures in each dish making for a most delightful and delicious dining experience from appetizer to dessert. The wonderfully warm and welcoming staff made our visit that much more memorable.

Honestly one of the worst dinning experiences I've had in Indy. The swordfish was over cook about 10 before it was taken off the grill and our waitress went missing for 20 mins and was rude when we asked for a check. Stay away...

Went twice within a week. Once with my in laws - sat at a table and ordered most everything off the menu. And once with a friend - sat at the bar and had drinks and food. Both times were fantastic and equally impressive regardless of the time/day. The cocktails are well balanced and built to perfection as is the food. We were graciously gifted dessert and even I, as a non ice cream fan, enjoyed the apple/ice cream dish. Can’t wait to see how the menu changes with the seasons.Parking: Plenty of spots out front as well as in a neighboring lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Great parking lot right outside. Wide doors and plenty of accessible seating.
