It's been a while since I last visited Blue Collar. I've tried several things on their menu; vanilla cortado with almond milk, vanilla latte, hazelnut latte, strawberry cold brew with strawberry cold foam (my personal favorite, but it is seasonal!). Their espresso is a little bit more on the acidic side. I really like their sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. The bread is fluffy and soft. I used to come here frequently in the fall, but one thing that turned me away was the service. The workers I encountered were always a hit or miss. Some were really nice then others made you feel like you were a nuisance for interrupting their conversation to order your coffee. However, I needed to change up my study space today (04/27/24) so I decided to give Blue Collar another try. I'm not sure if they hired new staff, but the workers today were very pleasant. There was one barista who had exceptional customer service (she's blonde and wore glasses / hair in two braids today) Her kindness and enthusiasm when interacting with customers is definitely hard to come by at coffee shops nowadays! (also the reason why my 4 star review has now turned into a 5) There is plenty of seating inside and lots of natural light which I enjoy. The outlets are somewhat limited depending on how busy it is, so try to come with your devices charged if possible. Overall, I love the ambience of this place. It's attached to Bottleworks Hotel and right next to The Garage so you can easily grab a bite after your study session!

Adorable coffee shop, neat ambiance, located conveniently within Bottleworks Hotel, with breakfast offerings and a traditional coffee shop menu. The Blue Collar House Roast was incredible! Even with a bit of a line, and a new trainee, service was quick and painless.

This shop is located in a beautiful historic building. You can find touches of that all over the coffee shop. I had the peanut butter mocha, which was very good. Service was friendly and quick! My favorite part was the "Pay it Forward" wall they had. You can leave a coffee, latte, or food for someone on their walk to use when in need. I loved that!

Cool spot in a cool hotel. Definitely worth checking out especially if you're staying at the Bottleworks Hotel. Visiting from @cattlemanscoffee in Michigan

We were staying at The Bottleworks Hotel (awesome hotel, btw) and got coffee and breakfast burritos to bring back to the room for breakfast. The coffee was ok. Nothing special. The breakfast burritos, if you could even call them that, were terrible. We ordered sausage, egg, and cheese. It also had onions and peppers in it which we didn't want and the menu did not indicate. There was maaaaaaybe 1/4 of a sincle scrambled egg in the entire thing. I didn't notice any cheese. It was mostly sausage, pepper, and onion, but mostly just tortilla. Terrible. The caliber of The Bottleworks Hotel definitely deserves something nicer leasing the space within their hotel.

Love this shop! The baristas are always friendly and confident in interactions, with knowledge of their product and how to best serve their customers. Blue Collar has all of the quality, without the pretentious, stuffy feeling some other good coffee places have. They also have great seating for spreading out while knocking out a work project or homework. Blue Collar has become our regular coffee spot.

You don't have to twist my arm to convince me that there's another reason to check out the Bottleworks District! Blue Collar is so nicely nestled across the way from the very hustley and bustley Garage Food Hall. My coworkers and I grabbed lunch at The Garage and then very conveniently hopped over to Blue Collar for an afternoon caffeine and scone pick-me-up. We got there at about 1PM and it was relatively sparse. Quite a few seating areas were still open for patrons, and the customer is seated were diligently working amongst themselves. I freaking LOVE that you can order a beverage for someone else here! Random acts of kindness are so fantastic! My coworkers are not experience coffee drinkers so the staff was very patient with them when explaining their menu options. You really can make anything here with all of their add-in flavor options. And you know the place is going to be cool when its little gift shop has custom-made Blue Collar socks! I got a good chuckle out of that. Today I went with a large hot chocolate with raspberry add-in and a blueberry scone on the side. My coworker ordered hers extra hot, and the staff gladly obliged. Our pastries were delivered to us fresh out of the microwave and were so comforting on a freezing day. Keep in mind that they are not currently excepting Apple Pay at this time so make sure you have your wallet with you.

Blue Collar is a spacious coffee shop with plenty of seating room for working, studying, or just hanging out with friends. The coffee shop is connected to the famous bottle works hotel which is another plus! The ambience within the coffee shop brings the whole place together. Now for the coffee. My wife and I have only each tried one drink but know for a fact we will return! I had a delicious Carmel latte (hot) while she chose a vanilla latte (hot) there are plenty of other beverage choices but we would each recommend these!

Friendly coffee shop adjacent to the Bottleworks Hotel. The chai latte is more like a chai tea but still good; if you are expecting a creamy rich chai latte, this isn’t it. Clean, friendly service, and conveniently in Bottleworks area. I will be back.
