Amazing food! The oysters were top notch! They told me Tuesdays that have oyster specials! I also had the scallops and pistachio cheescake. Everything was perfect and just the right portion! Can't wait to check out Tuesdays! I think Wednesday was half price wine also I think.

Well priced tasty food. Service was great. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating to our request. Server was awesome with her recommendations. Bartender was great as kicked drinks which were off menu. Overall splendid experience.

First of all, outstanding staff and an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable waiter! The oyster parm was really good and perfect flavor! I enjoyed the seafood ravioli and my love had the seafood risotto and it was amazing, she loved it! Will return

A truly standout service experience, kudos to the entire staff who made our meal completely seamless. Food is also excellent with good variety across a relatively small menu. A little loud but a small price to pay for the overall package. Will be back for sure.

Amazing ambiance. Fantastic food. Very affordable. Loved it. Will definitely visit again. It was so hard to pull the trigger on a single item when ordered. It's worthy of multiple visits just to try everything on the menu

We came for our Valentine's Day dinner. Our server was helpful and attentive. The crab cakes and seafood ravioli were delicious. The food tasted fresh. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu!

I had high expectations but left somewhat disappointed. To begin with we didn't realize there is no parking lot only street parking, and with a busy Orange Theory right next door we had to park several blocks away. We had made a reservation at the bar because that was the only option left but the tables were only half full the entire time we were there. They must have had a lot of cancellations or their staff is limited and they are not fully booking. The inside is nice, small and dimly lit. The bar is well stocked and they have a short but decent wine offering leaning toward Italian varieties. We ordered some wine and a cocktail and both were good. The bartender/server was friendly and accommodating. I ordered a half dozen oysters as an appetizer because it is an oyster bar and we love them. Four of the six were good. I know many varieties of oysters run small but one was so small it almost had nothing in it. Another clearly smelled off and I chose not to eat it. Neither should have been served. You can't often tell that an oyster is bad from looking at it but you mostly can from smelling it and the person who prepares them should always do the smell test before serving them. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the oysters here. The entree selection is small. Mostly seafood and pasta dishes. My wife ordered the cod and she liked it but it didn't appear to me to be an elevated dish and the vegetables along with it were undercooked. I ordered the sea bass and it was fine but not exceptional. We also ordered a tiramisu which clearly had been frozen as it was not thawed completely through. Overall the experience and food were unremarkable except for the oysters which were disappointing. We really had hoped we would like this place better because we love seafood and had planned on going for some time but we will likely not revisit with better choices around town. Sorry.

Oysters (Sweet Baby Jesus) had 3 choices and I had the ones in parentheses .... they were delicious!!! Service was good and food was outstanding! Although I live here and eat out a lot this was my first time eating here but will definitely be back! Only downside was parking lot was full and had to find street parking.

The three of us sat at the bar because all the tables were full when we made our reservation. We had such a wonderful time with Samantha, our bartender, that we may request bar seating again even if the tables are not full! The service was outstanding; the food was wonderful as it always has been every time we have eaten there. We had a seafood pasta dish, a salmon entre, panzanella salad, and tiramisu. Bluepoint Costal Kitchen is one of our favorite places to dine.

Great meal. Had oysters to start then the grilled octopus, scallops and risotto. All were great. Only comment is that the risotto with the scallops could have used a bit more seasoning.

A busy night at Blue Point- but we were treated and served as if we were the only people dining. Service and food was great-neither too fast or too slow; staff made sure food was to our liking. We love dining at Blue Point- so happy our friend told us about you- otherwise we would have never known. =:-)

Per reviews, sat on the "family dining side" for an attempt at a quiet experience. The traffic flow to the bathroom or waiting for tables spilled over into the family dining area and it was still very loud. Honestly the food was just okay. Fritto misto was heavy on the salt. Fisherman stew was on point. Salads were average. We had three courses and we were out in 50 minutes which felt quite rushed. Parking required a 4 block walk due to red line median and orange theory classes taking up the lot. Overall I'd rate this as neutral. Tried it once finally, not sure if we will return.

Blupoint has become one of our "go to" places. In our party of 4 last night we had the unusual situation where two of us ordered the same entree and the other two ordered a different, but same for each other, entree. We started with raw oysters, three kinds. We then moved to fritto misto with a delicious melange of lightly fried seafood (calamari, shrimp, oysters, etc.). We followed with beet salads, which each family shared. The salad is large enough for two. My entree was the seafood risotto, a dish I had enjoyed before. The other male at the table ordered the same dish. It was delicious and we each enjoyed it. The other two ordered the branzino and they each enjoyed that. Finally, two of us had affogatos and the other two shared a pistachio cake. Again everything was delightful. We paired all of the food with a Vermentino de Sardegna, a very good choice. Highly recommended.
