They were one of, if not my favorite restaurant in Indianapolis. The triple de ripple was both my wife and my favorite beer for a decade. Good luck and I hope to taste the triple and frites again someday.

So sad to see you go! You have been a family favorite from the beginning. Take care of yourselves. Come back to your customers when you are ready. We will be patiently waiting!!

I’d been in a few times and their food is average. Their french fries are good, but everything else is kind of just sloppily made. It’s almost as if they just assembled store bought stuff onto a plate for you, but that’s not the main reason I’m writing this review.

I love how creative Brugge Brasserie has been during the Covid-19 shutdown! we drove an hour each way to pick up a Mussels Cook at Home Kit, and of course - pomme frites!! Delicious as always, but we can't wait to be able to chill out on the patio and enjoy them!

FINALLY came here! I've heard from several people that this is their favorite restaurant in Indy and it finally took being quarantined for me to venture out and score some delicious take out. My first three interactions rocked: 1) whoever runs their Instagram is super nice, 2) whoever answered the phone was super cheery and 3) the man who handed me my food was super thankful for the business and smiley as well. Is this the same person I interacted with all three times? I don't know but they seem GREAT. Okay, now onto the food. Brugge is a Belgian restaurant that specializes in mussels, pomme frites, steak, sandwiches, salads, soups and the sauces... oh the SAUCES. You can choose to have mussels in tons of different sauces that all sound amazing - everything from jalapeno j*** to ginger peanut. That's what i'll be coming back for. This time around, we ordered take out and both got the steak frites. You get the option of two dipping sauces for the frites, and I chose roasted garlic aioli and sauce andalouse. Both were incredible and it was so fun to add your own flavor to the meal. If you're reading this during ~quarantine~ time, they are doing both curbside carryout and delivery. They are also doing 'family meals' where you can get a pound of raw mussels, container of broth (your choice), charcuterie and frites. How amazing is that?! It's a good price as well -- see more info on their Instagram and... support local!

I literally cannot believe I have never posted a review of Brugge! I always assumed I had since it's probably my fav restaurant in town! We have been frequent Brugge diners since 2009 (minus the three years we lived in TX). The menu is simple but phenomenally executes. From the mussels fo the crepes and of course the FRIES! (Highly recommend dipping it in sauce andalouse). We recently ordered "to go" during this CV pandemic. The food was a nice reminder of our "normal" life. Even to go, the crepes were delicious. My husband ordered the Thai steak and I ordered the battered cod (my go to). Of course we had to get the fries. Even to go they were wonderful. We will be back again for takeout during this time to help support our fav spot!

The beer at Bruges is absolutely the best in town try the black or the triple ripple. Only 2 person, bcuz of the high alcohol content. The fish stew is to die for, and the muscles are fresh and plentiful. It's way too loud on weekends with college students. I like to go early around 7 PM, has a nice crowd

I am always happy to find a great restaurant in the Indy area! I am so happy to have discovered this place. The fries are some of the best that I've had and everything is reasonably priced for the quality and quantity! Their menu is well made so everyone can find something they like. I strongly suggest that you try whatever special dessert they have available. We had a delicious blueberry lemon crêpe! I strongly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a place with a great atmosphere, fantastic food, and high quality service!

I have been a Brugge customer since years, for at least once a year since 15 years. This is a great place if you like eating mussels and crepes. This place does not take reservations so be careful if you want to go with a large group of friends. The staff changed since last time I came and unfortunately the service has not been the same. They bump their price quite a bit. 2 pounds mussels for $28 is expensive and the fries are expensive as well. Otherwise the food quality is still very good. Their crepes are amazing

I hadn't been to Brugge in years and had been telling my husband we needed to go, and finally we did. It was just as great as I remembered. My husband, as a beer lover, ordered the Triple de Ripple. He loved it, and even I (someone who hates beer) liked it. My husband had the steak frites, which he loved and I had the mussels with Dijon sauce. I love mussels, and these are some of the best. The portion with the fries is huge, but so good. They're cooked perfectly, and the sauce was great. Where this place really shines is their fries. You can choose from a long list of dipping sauces. My husband had the homemade ketchup and the horseradish sauce, both great. I had the sherry vinegar with salt and the garlic aioli. I liked the garlic aioli a lot, but I'm a s***** for vinegar on potatoes of any kind, so I mostly just ate that. We will most definitely be back, and next time we may have to try a crepe.
