They have a great menu. It's too bad that they don't have a nice full service sit-down restaurant with wine. At this location, you order from the counter, take a seat, and they bring you your meal in a paper lined basket.

I went to the Caplinger's on Pendleton Pike and was over charged for a pound of shrimp. Their menu listed the pound of shrimp for $23.99, I was charged $29 and some change so you might was well say $30. All of their prices are $1 more than the Shadeland location. They do not have any scales so I was told that I had to pay by the quarter pound. I was very upset and told the lady at the window that I felt as if I was being ripped off! I did not want to pay for the shrimp but my kids were hungry! I will never go back to the Pendleton location. No fresh fish or seafood.

I'm from New England,a seafood mecca, and while out this way, decided to give this place a try. I gotta say ...batter, taste and portions are ? First time eating gator bites & frog legs. No regrets!
I think my family and I have been going here for 10 years. Every time we're in the area we make a point to go back. This time they grilled grouper for me and with a fresh squeeze of lemon it was awesome. We also got the tuna melt. It was delicious and unlike any other. The service was great because the staff was attentive, efficient, humble, and inviting.

First time I stopped in for lunch I was NOT disappointed. They have the freshest seafood around. It may be small, but it has the best seafood in town. I took my friends there on next trip. They were impressed with the food also. Service was pretty quick and all the staff were all very helpful. Hmmm, just leaving the review makes me think I need to go back really soon.
