This is by far my favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Indy. It's located in The Garage Food Hall. The food is fresh and made to order. They have so many amazing options to choose from. The servers are always smiling and happy to serve. I love the food hall experience and ambiance. Parking is paid.

Visiting my son in Indianapolis from out of state and went to Bottleworks to give our group a variety of options. My son ordered the Butter Chicken, which was good, but definitely missing some of the spice (not heat, spice) of authentic Indian food. We love the marriage of spices in Indian food. The butter chicken was quite bland, but maybe tuned toward palates trying Indian food for the first time. I ordered the Chana Masala, which was a big disappointment. I wanted a meat-free dish, but was not expecting the watery concoction I got. It had very little seasoning/spice. The rice was good. The chapati was my favorite part of the meal.

Looking forward to some delicious food but this was not it. The spinach was oily. I ordered Palak paneer with a side of naan and a drink - it was $24 plus change. Way too expensive for a 'food court' type establishment. Will not be going back.

Got chili chicken (spicy) with basmati rice & garlic naan. Chili chicken had a great taste and some bites weren't spicy and others hit ya. Basmati rice & garlic naan were the star of the show for us. Very fresh and very delish. I would say it stinks when you go to these places and have to stand for 15-20 minutes waiting versus having a device/text to call you back to your food. I know you can walk around but sometimes you get a little lost in the chaos etc. Overall good experience, but will try the flagship store soon too.

There were no prices posted at the stand and the online menu wasn't loading. Should have walked away. Instead, got a small container of veggie briyani and two pieces of plain naan, which turned out to cost $22.

I had the chili chicken last night at the Garage and it was just incredible. The way the sweet spices like cardamom balanced the heat really made it perfect

Sab par food sold in the name of Pakistani food. Which is not even close to traditional food but convince of the store owner and lack of knowledge of visitors. Plus they sell everything with rice even the dishes all over Pakistan serve with bread aka naan. The food tastes bleh and is cooked improperly. And according to owners comments which proves that the people who grew up eating these food are wrong and they are right as per their convince.

Chapati Beta, nestled in theGarage Food Hall, offers a great amount of different Indiana/Pakistani foods. I opted for the Chicken Tikka Masala paired with Garlic Naan; the flavors were great. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a wonderful blend of spices, and the dish carried a heat level well within the expected range, adding a kick. The Garlic Naan was freshly prepared, providing a delightful complement to the rich and savory Tikka Masala. However, the experience was somewhat tempered by the price point. At $28 for my meal, it was a bit overpriced compared to their first location. While the quality of the food is commendable, the value for money might leave some patrons wanting more. On a positive note, the Garage Food Hall itself is a fantastic venue. Its diverse food options caters to various tastes, making it an ideal spot for groups with multiple preferences. The communal setting adds to the overall relaxed nature of the venue. In conclusion, Chapati Beta in the Garage Food Hall is worth a visit for its food and the unique setting within the food hall. While the pricing could be reconsidered for better value, the overall dining experience remains satisfying, especially for those seeking culinary variety in a lively environment.

This location has watered its recipe down, the salt content is lacking and the pickle thing they put in the yellow daal has been removed. I wouldn't recommend this location. It's not as good as the west side location. You get less for more money. Service was good. The building is nice.

Overall a fantastic Indian/Pakistani restaurant. The food is made to order and takes a little time to be prepared. But the wait is well worth it. The butter chicken is incredible, best around Indy. It's very fresh, clean, and delicious. I highly recommend the naan bread, it is incredible! The service is great as well, they are always friendly. If you're looking for butter chicken, paneer, or any other Indian style food, this is the spot!

Ordered the chicken tikka masala—chicken was far too overcooked. Shriveled really, and far too much oil separating on top. Also no sustainable packaging—They only offered styrofoam to go boxes even though I was eating there. Overall a pretty bad experience unfortunately.
