Chava’s Mexican Grill was quick, delicious, and friendly. The food is prepared infront of you and you get to pick your toppings. Their rice and refried beans are some of the tastiest I have had in the area. The salsas are great and they have plenty to choose from. The dishes pictured are a chimichanga and a torta al pastor.

We were super disappointed with this joint! We love a concept like this where you can pick your own toppings. However, my husband ordered a quesadilla, but it only came with chicken & LOADS OF CHEESE. He was not allowed to add any vegetables or even add rice or beans! I had the burrito which I was able to pick my toppings, but there was so much cheese in it that the burrito just fell apart. Everything tasted bland, when we were looking around, the ingredients they had set out didn't look fresh at all, the guacamole was also brown. Overall, not impressed! There's also not much sitting inside and floor was pretty dirty

Beyond impressed by this hole in the wall, Mexican restaurant. It is located on a tucked away strip mall on the border of Carmel and Indianapolis and I am so glad we decided to try this place out. The restaurant is very simple, but clean. We have been greeted with great service both times we have gone. We went twice in the same week because it is just that good. The food was amazing!! They have your traditional Mexican food menu, but the ingredients are fresh and they have an AMAZING selection of salsas. This will definitely be added to one of our regular spots.

Large portions, extremely tasty, great service, and good prices. Will be back! The pastor, tongue, and ground beef tacos were really good, their quesadillas are quite large, and their special is just out of this world. I'd love to try the steak next time, and there will be a next time.

Burrito al pastor is fantastic. Hands down the best I've had since moving here from Southern California.

The food here is delicious! Way better than even some dine in restaurants and 10x better than chipotle or Qdoba.

Both the arroz con pollo and the burrito are awesome. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for some quick Mexican food. It's like chipotle but good.

Chava's is a must try. It's pretty much just an upgraded local chain version of Chipotle in Indiana. Their burritos are amazing. And if you are really hungry their super burritos are an unbeatable value. They have good chips and salsa/queso/guac. They also have Jarritos and many Mexican hot sauces to choose from. The service is always quick and friendly and the inside always has a lot of colorful decorations and pictures.Do NOT sleep on Chava's. It's sssoooo good.

Couple of tortas, chorizo and chicken. Delicious and worth the reasonable pricing. I’d choose over chipotle, moe’s, etc. any day. Check ‘em’ out!Vegetarian options: Take home for my wife. She likes rice, pico, veggies. She enjoyed it.

Forget the big chain burrito peddlers that usually disappoint, THIS IS THE PLACE. Pastor burrito was fantastic. I got the super and it was HUGE. I have a chipotle sized burrito leftover and I was stuffed! Staff was super friendly.

This place reminds me of chipotle but sooo much more authentic!! And they are not stingy on extras we are in love with this place

Very similar to a Chipotle or QDOBA but better! Lots more ingredients and toppings! I liked that they gave the option for a bowl.
