Cholita is a cozy little spot with fantastic food. The queso fundido is a great twist on a classic appetizer. I can't recommend them enough!

This place has the best Sunday brunch in town. To be fair I can't really judge it on anything other than it's brunch because that's the only time I've been. All you can eat for $25 and it's all delicious. The food is unique Mexican American fusion, and includes savory and sweet treats. The portions are small so you get to try a lot of things and share with friends. Will be going back soon!

My girl suggested here and I was worried. I'm from Chicago and know authentic Mexican restaurants when I see them. Indy doesn't have many of them. But this one is true to its roots with a modern twist. Love the carne asada tacos and heard they have a live dj there on Sundays.I might see about doing a set and a little surprise there one Sunday.Great Place !!!!!

We were disappointed overall for a highly rated, kinda pricey joint. The margaritas would have been better if I could taste the tequila. There were way too many toppings on the tacos to the point where I couldn't taste the meat. I forgot I ordered the Brussels sprouts taco because I couldn't actually taste them on the taco.

What a horrible experience! We sat at the bar for dinner and watched the staff take shots throughout our meal. Someone who just finished their shift (and made it clear she was a manager) was drunk at the bar talking about how she was looking for a job elsewhere. Not even a hour later, our server behind the bar shattered a bottle and her coworker had to step in to get our check. To clean it up, she brought out a giant floor fan and it made it impossible to hear each other which forced us to leave. We will not be back.

Disappointed in the brunch. You can do $25 unlimited food (do this option) or a la carte for the menu price ($9-15 per entree). The entrees are TINY. Like the size I would serve a 5 year old child. Our server was super nice but did not warn us about how small everything was. We left hungry and disappointed. A grown adult would need 3-5 dishes to feel full. If you end up there for brunch, do the $25 unlimited. I paid $12 for two mini “tacos” (they were about 1.5” long empanadas with egg on top of a tablespoon of beans) and 1/3 of a serving of chips and salsa. Sad :(

This place is a gem!!! The weekend brunch cannot be missed! Service was fast, impeccable, and so knowledgeable and fun. The food was out of this world with the hot chicken torta and the queso fundido at the top. We will be back often. Amazing and fun!

Michael (the owner) and Chelsea (event coordinator) are the absolute best. I had a venue booked for my birthday expecting about 30 guests. At the last minute, the venue I had originally booked flooded, and I was unable to host my party. Michael and Chelsea stepped in days before the party and saved the day! Chelsea is a dream work with and was on top of everything! She is very responsive and took care of everything. As they say, things happen for a reason, and I think my reason was I needed to have my party downstairs in the Catina. I couldn't have asked for a better event space. Many of my guests loved the space and atmosphere they provide. The bar service that night was also amazing and very friendly! If you are looking for a venue to host a party, I would HIGHLY recommend Cholita.

I just had the most fantastic brunch experience at Cholita Tacos! The all-you-can-eat brunch was worth every penny. The food was delicious, and the variety of options was impressive. From the juicy carne asada to the flavorful vegetarian options, everything was cooked to perfection. The service was also outstanding, with friendly staff who ensured we always had fresh drinks and plates. I highly recommend this brunch to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal. Five stars all the way!

I have been here a total of four times now. And I do have to say it's pretty darn good. Three times just to eat, and once for brunch. Their regular menu is somewhat limited, so I was pleasantly surprised with the full on brunch menu. The ambience is very relaxed, the severs are pretty nice and on point. Once even tried to rescue us from a bee that really wanted to dine with us on the patio!I typically get the MISSION CARNE ASADA NACHOS(tortilla chips + morita queso + carne asada + pinto beans + cheddar cheese + pickled jalapeños + pico de gallo + sour cream + guacamole taquero)Minus the carne asada but with chicken instead. Pretty darn tasty! As for the taco's I have tried:AL PASTORmarinated and fire roasted pork + salsa Rosa + pineapple + guacamole taquero + corn tortillaLA GRINGAdouble flour tortilla cheese quesadilla + all natural chicken + guacamole taquero + onion + cilantro + salsa moritaThe CHURRO DONUTScinnamon sugar + dulce de leche caramel + white chocolate mousse + sprinkles are amazing.I came once for the weekend brunch and it was a great time. We had a group of six people and shared items. Everything was wonderful. The food, the drinks, the conversation.Their cocktails are amazing. I have tried many of them but I think the eclipse de fresa is my favorite!

The waiter (griffin) was really rude, overcharged us, and brought us the wrong food. then the manager said he would fix it and didn't. I won't waste my time or money here again. The bartends are great just sit at the bar if you have to go here.Edit: I was partially refunded about a week later.
