It's getting out of hand. I like the occasional Dairy Queen because they still make a "normal" sized hamburger which I appreciate. But today I ordered two single regular hamburgers and a medium coke. $9.00 was cost. The medium coke was $3.18. Seriously. Mostly ice. The food is good but at that cost there are many other alternatives. Come on owners. Be better.

I was craving a blizzard from Dairy Queen, so I went ahead and picked one up from the Dairy Queen down the street from me on Meridian St. This is located within the gas station convenience store, so it's a small Dairy Queen. There was only a couple people behind the counter, and they were very professional and gave good customer service. The dining area is small since it is in a convenience store in a gas station. It was decent and clean, but nothing to write home about. I ordered a small Reese's Peanut butter cup blizzard and a small order of fries to go. The blizzard was excellent and superb as I know it would be. The fries were great and cooked to perfection. Dairy Queen does not disappoint me with their blizzards, and they never will. Unfortunately, since I have to watch what I eat these days, I'm not going to make a habit of getting blizzards on a regular basis, but when I ever get the craving, you can be sure I will be going to Dairy Queen. It is magnificent!

I'm not sure if I've written a review for fast food before but felt compelled to write this one. My expectations with fast food service is typically pretty low. This DQ was always below average. Horrible lines. Horrible service. Employees with bad attitudes who played on their phone as you tried to purchase some soft serve. We more or less stopped going bc it was pointless. Then my third trimester in pregnancy came and all I wanted was a freaking soft serve cone. I finally decided to deal w the historical crappy service and attempt to get my craving satisfied. When I got there, there was one car in line and I found that odd. Usually there is a long line which moves slow. I ordered my cone and was in/out quickly. A couple of week later....same thing. Then last night-same thing again. Also worth nothing, the staff appears have completely turned over and all the new people are very polite and have quick service. I asked if they were under new management and that was confirmed. The change is noticeable. Well done! And thank you from this soft serve craving mama. We will definitely continue going now.
