Found this place while driving to our hotel. It was excellent! We were the only non-Spanish speakers there, which meant it was "authentic" mexican food. The servers spoke little English, so we just pointed to what we wanted. I got the Nacho Supremos and my hubby got the Shrimp Tostada....outstanding! Next time we visit our Nephew and Niece in law who live in Indianapolis, we will need to bring them here!

Most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever eaten besides in Mexico and it was pretty similar. Atmosphere is positive. Karaoke nights are fun for everyone. The staff is 10 out of 10. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Our server Debora was very patient and attentive. We had taken a while to figure out what we wanted to eat, and we wanted a special plate made for us.The service was excellent! All ot out food was fantastic! We also received a to-go cup of our soda which is always a really nice touch. We will be back!Carne Asada Chimichanga was really delicious!Parking: Parking is right outside the front door in the strip parking lot.

This hidden gem serves up incredibly authentic Mexican food in a unique, wide-open space that truly celebrates its name. The large white horse on the music stage adds a special touch to the restaurant's atmosphere, reflecting its spirited and passionate connection to Mexican culture.Every dish was packed with bold flavors, and the homemade tortillas and salsas were amazing. The staff was super attentive and knowledgeable, making my experience even better. I can't wait to go back and immerse myself in the delicious cuisine and vibrant ambiance of El Corcel! Five stars all the way!

* Positive: Lengua taco was excellent in quality. Lots of seating, with many TVs spread around.* Negative: Lengua taco was smallish in size, and pricey at $4.91 after any taxes. (Price was the only reason I didn't give at least 4 ⭐'s overall.)Other: TVs are probably mostly turned to whatever live sports event would most interest Hispanics living in Indianapolis. Interior has a stage.
