Had high hopes for this place because we loved our experiences at Firebirds in Dania Pointe, Fort Lauderdale. This was disappointing. Maybe because it's prom season and it was busy? Although we had reservations and got seated promptly. Service was bad, food was mediocre. Maybe we will try lunch sometime but hesitant to come back with so many better dining options on north side of Indy.

My experience was really good at Firebirds ,the food was good. The only problems we had were that we ordered and once everything came to the table the server put in my order wrong I asked for my steak to be cooked well done and it came to me medium well we ordered a drink which never came but at the end we told the waiter and he asked if we still would like to have the drink and I told him no because the drink should have been served earlier and it was time to go.

Very inconsistent. Sometimes it's awesome and sometimes so so good. This last time the service was wonderful and my steak was outrageously good! Baked potato was cool though and the butter on it didn't melt, not even a bit. Wife food was good and we enjoy the atmosphere.
The food was delicious. The Bacon Deviled Eggs had outstanding flavor and texture. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Crème Brûlée cheesecake was to die for. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back. P. S. Our server, Philip, was attentive and helpful.

The server behaved so unusual. I never been in firebird before and tell us they can not make bloody marry.Then I asked for burger without bun, he said they do not do that either.So my husband ordered for me because it seems that what ever I ordered, he cannot look do it. ☹️it is very sad. I have been in firebird restaurant in 4 different states, this is the first time I got treated that bad.

My wife and I each ordered a salad (Grilled Tenderloin Salad and Buffalo Chicken Salad) and wow! They were really good. I also asked for a side of Port Mushrooms, and if they could be brought out early, we'd have them as an appetizer. The server did just that, and the mushrooms were fantastic.

First time experiencer here, and I must say, I enjoyed every bit of myself. Food came out fast, the meal was quite tasty, and the service was actually my favorite part. Shout to out Brooke for being an exceptional server. She was quite personable, knowledgeable about the restaurant and gave good incite on any questions about the menu. That drink suggestion hit home. I'll be back, and I need her to serve me. ?S/N Philly cheese steak appetizer was quite good. ?

We dine at Firebirds at least 2-3 times a month. Mostly great. Last night--not so much. We usually either have the burger or the salmon. We aways share the BLT salad. Last night the salad was 2/3 of usual size. The salmon was overcooked and dry. We can always tell when a new chef is doing the cooking. If you are spending over $100 for midweek dinner, it should be outstanding.
Although I have been here many times, today wasn't my best experience. I had their grilled salmon which is normally good. I told our waitress to please ask for it to be cooked to medium because I wasn't looking for salmon sushi. It arrived cold and barely cooked inside. She apologized, said she'd specified I wanted it medium and they got me another one quickly so all was fine in the end.

Good food, good drink, good atmosphere. This place does it all. It is a good idea to make a reservation for a Friday, the place was busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The beautiful bar area was full and well stocked with creative new and classic cocktails. We enjoyed an appetizer of the hot wings. The were delicious and the sauces was flavorful without being too hot. All of us ordered steaks. They all came out perfectly cooked. They have a variety of ways to add on to your steak. I had mine “Oscar Style”. My son enjoyed mushrooms. The sides are a generous portion and can easily be shared to make more variety on your plate. Service was attentive. We enjoyed our dining experience there and will definitely keep this place in mind for future celebrations.

I made a reservation to celebrate my husband and father in laws birthday as they are a week apart. It was the first time any of us had been to Firebirds so we all signed up for their first time discount. This fact will matter later. So in the reservation details, I noted we were celebrating two birthdays. I called the day of our reservation to note that we also needed a table with chairs as two of our group are handicapped. Upon arrival, they asked us if we wanted a booth or the bar. Which I had already stated and been told it was noted that neither was acceptable. They claimed there were no notes. I reminded the waitress later about the birthdays and she said we will get them some free desserts while faking a trip to the restroom. She then took dessert orders and charged them for the desserts while I was gone during the SAME trip. Then upon receiving our bill accused us of duplicating the birthday coupon (it was neither duplicated nor a birthday coupon). Mind you, we have spent nearly $500 dollars among 6 people. The price is not an issue, but the accusations and dessert issues are. Again, delicious food, however, their attention to detail and transparency are a reason we will probably not return to this location.

Drinks were served quickly; and yes it took us 15 mins to make up our minds and order but it was an hour before our food came. Our server was kind and brought all four of us desert-not just the birthday boy!
