The food was so terrible that I couldn’t even eat it!!! The ribs tasted like they added liquid smoke to it, no seasoning. The greens tasted like they had been sitting for days. Nothing was fresh. Don’t even get me started on the Mac and cheese. I knew this was going to be a disaster when I heard a microwave…smh. Please do better!!!

My 1st time there and was very disappointed about the rib tips and bbq sauce. The rib tips had no flavor and the meat was very tough. The mild bbq sauce was completely watery. I had to put my own bbq sauce that i had at home on the tips and add some seasoning to to the tips. The only things that were decent were the baked beans and coleslaw. The cornbread crumbled into pieces when I broke it in half and was very gritty. I spent $27 on food that was not prepared properly. Just very disappointed.

I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and got a chopped chicken sandwich. I was very disappointed. Even the photo of the sandwich is pulled chicken not chopped. The way meat is cut gives it a different texture. I'm good on them. When you say something is one way that is the way it should be served.

We spent $35 on NOTHING! Corned beef was dry...cabbage was just boiled, they didn't even look at the salt& pepper BLAND doesn't even give it justice. Then the staff was dry... Won't get another dime from me.
We ordered a large catering order for our wedding reception and we couldn’t be happier with the food and service! They have the best bbq I’ve had in town and great/friendly service.

Worst tips I’ve ever had. Proportions were small for a medium turkey tip dinner. I’ve never had turkey tips without a bone. Never again! They didn’t make this food with any love. All the sides tasted microwaved. Turkey tips tasted like they were out the oven, but with bbq sauce.

A friend and I were looking for bbq in the area we just happened to be in - we stumbled on this spot and when we saw they also had Turkey options, we were very excited! It wasn't busy but it wasn't slow, I ordered the Turkey tips with a side of baked beans and potato salad. She ordered the Turkey ribs with the greens and baked beans. I should have had the Turkey ribs instead - didn't care for the tips. The potato salad and baked beans were great! I also ordered the peach cobbler and that alone will have me back!

Nice people but food is sub par. I moved to area in 2018 and went there first to try it out. The food was barely so-so. The greens are not seasoned and very bad in my opinion. Everything I ate seemed like they cut corners on food quality. I did give the restaurant another chance and ordered ribs for takeout for me and a friend. My friend is a rib lover but threw out most of his order. He didn't like the food at all and was vocal about it. I've not been back since. The only great restaurant I've found in the 56th Emerson area is Lincoln Square.
