Very salty food

Highly recommend the steak nachos. Very reasonably priced and the portions are enough for 2-3 meals. Fast and friendly service also. Nice grocery store attached to restaurant with beautiful produce!

I always get the impression that all these fonditas believe that the clients never ate out before coming here, the service is slow and it seems that they do you the favor of serving you, the food is very far from being acceptable unless you don't Have a point of comparison with real Mexican food, they can't even chop lettuce for a huarache, they put that vegetable mix for bagged salad, they bring you the wrong order and not only do they not offer to change it or offer an apology for the mistake , they answer the first thing that comes to their mouth and you can see that they are very used to that happening, the food is really bad and of more than mediocre quality, they are fortunate to be where whatever is sold, In Mexico they would surely have one-time clients.

When you walk into this place it looks like your average Mexican store but as you proceed to the restaurant you do a double take. It’s a beautiful place with a large statue and neat atmosphere. It feels like a plaza in a small town. Service was great and our waitress was kind and polite. The food was delicious and portions were huge. We had a nice meal and will definitely be back. Yum!

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food. my palate does not like bland food, and Mexican food always tasted bland to me. Nothing wrong about Mexican food but I like spices and aroma of herbs which I find, is generally lacking in this kind of food but I saw a review about this place and I decided to check the tacos. This is a good place to go. This has a very different ambience almost as if you are in Mexico based on my one time experience of going to a Mexican restaurant in Cancun. The service is good people speak very well and are able to explain the food. I was there for tacos, and I ordered three tacos. I ordered chicken taco a beef taco and a pork taco. I'm happy to say that my experience was almost equal to what I had experienced in Cancun and the food was good. Tacos were very soft, they were hot, chicken in the taco felt slightly cold but it was properly cooked and it was OK. The pork taco was very good. It had a tangy sauce in it, tasted like mango, and that was very fulfilling and the beef taco was again good, but bland, but I guess it is supposed to be like that. The quality of food is good. The tacos overall, tasted good. I think it is worth going to this place again and try the other offerings. Also, this place is very well frequented by native Mexican food loving population, as well as non-natives and it was crowded. It was lunch hour and people were coming in. I can't say the name of this place but it is worth visiting this place. It's part of a grocery store. Grocery store is OK. Nothing much to talk about maybe all Mexican food and canned food you may get a better selection at Saraga, but this was a good place for food.

A combination Mexican restaurant and grocery store. I've heard nothing but praise for the multitudes of coworkers that have gone here. You walk in to a really cool aesthetic with a large statue/fountain in the center.Prompt and solid service. Never was wanting for anything. I was pretty hungry at lunch so I ordered this insane Surf and Turf plate. 8 shrimp, fried tilapia filet, steak, chicken, and chorizo!!! Also came with salad, avocado, rice, beans, and tortillas. So much food. I almost ate it all!!Highly recommend. Will come back to this review after a few more visits...this may be 5 star worthy!!

I have been coming to this restaurant for 2 years now. I live very close. I speak a little Spanish, but I am by no means fluent. There used to be a woman who worked there who knew my name and always made sure my food was right. I haven't seen her in a while.Yesterday I called to place my usual order. I ordered it the same way I have every time over the last 2 years. I said I want a steak torta with everything, a side of fries, and a small cheese dip. They acted like they understood. Then I told them I wanted a special buritto and listed every ingredient I want in the buritto. Steak, rice, beans, lettuce, and cheese. That's it. They rand up a steak buritto nontomato no avocado. Not what I ordered. They just don't listen. When I got my meal, the fries were sitting in a bed of cheese and were soggy and gross. My burrito had sour cream in it in blobs. I DID NOT order sour cream. When I went back to get my order corrected, the girl behind the counter argued with me that I said fries with cheese (papas con queso). I explained that is not at all what I said. I even reitterated small cheese dip 3 times on the phone. Why would I be ordering a size of it if it was going on top? She proceeded to lectured me for 15 minutes about I need to say the word "apart" when ordering the fries and cheese. Make sure I say apart from the fries. She repeated herself 32 times like I'm an idiot. Then the other girl told me again before she would give me my food.My bf hadn't bitten into his buritto yet by this time because he was waiting for cheese sauce for the top. He didn't end up eating any of his buritto because his first bite had sour cream and he about threw up.Congratulations, Guanajuato. You've lost a good customer who lives a stone's throw away because you have the worst customer service staff I've ever experienced. I will never be back. The food is great, but it's not worth getting the wrong food and a lecture for no reason other than they didn't put the order in as I said it and they don't want to listen.Fire both of those women and hire the one who used to work there back and you'll be good.

Delicious food, with lots of choices not found at your genetic Mexican restaurant. There is also a grocery store attached if you're looking for more hard to find items.
