The sushi was incredible! The pieces were smaller, which was a good thing as they were more approachable. I give credit to the size to them not having too much rice, like most places. They had just enough rice to surround them and keep them together. Unfortunately, the service was subpar. I blame the management more than the server, to be honest. There was only one server and one bartender. So it was a little frustrating to have everything take so long from start to finish. Over all, if you want good sushi with a very posh atmosphere, go here... you may just have to wait a while.

This place has the best sushi in downtown Indianapolis with incredible service. I highly recommend Eating here before Pacers and Colts games as they have drink specials, including pitcher of beer on sale with incredibly fresh sushi and great variety of sushi rolls. It is very clean and upscale, with very reasonable prices. I went there for the first time before a Pacers game and will definitely be going back
Loved the bento boxes! I liked my steak and my wife really liked her shrimp tempura. The service was great. Very friendly. We liked the decor and there was a nice flow to the restaurant. Excited to try this out again in the future.

We went there before Pacers game, and they have a few beer and drink specials, which are really good for downtown Indianapolis. It's a very nice upscale sushi bar with several ice cold beers on tap including Kirin, Michelob ultra and Sun king that you can get in pitchers. The sushi was very fresh and they had nicely prepared rolls at a very fair price. The servers kept our drinks full and were very attentive in bringing our appetizers and sushi entrées in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Definitely a hidden gem in Fountain Square! Came to Hasuno with a friend after craving sushi and so happy that I did! The minute we walked in we were quickly greeted and seated at a table. I was quite surprised with how big the space is inside compared to the outside. However, ambiance was quite nice and I appreciated that they had their own bar seating area as well! Our waitress was super sweet and patient with us as she walked us through the menu. I ordered a lychee mule and it was perfect. Just the right hint of lychee without being too overpowering! The sushi roll I ordered was extremely well made and the salmon tasted so fresh. Now here's the kicker, the prices. Everything on the menu was so reasonably priced and I was surprised with both the service and quality of food/drinks. Overall, excellent experience and I will most definitely be back to try more items from the menu!

We came here on a cold Sunday afternoon while out walking the neighborhood. We sat at the bar where we were greeted with friendly servers and bartenders. The interior was very trendy and would be a great night time date spot. My partner ordered Japanese whiskey and I had a wonderful pot of green tea. We split a few rolls, which were all delicious. I find the sushi in Indianapolis to be sometimes lacking, but this place is wonderful. We will definitely be back.
I just moved to this neighborhood and I already have my new favorite spot. The food was fast, well-priced, and delicious. I sat at the bar, and the bartender (Hunter) was so friendly and attentive! I was there during the lunch rush but he made me feel like the only customer there, and I could tell his other customers felt the same way. He recommended drinks for me, told me about things to do in the area, and just overall made my dining experience amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough!-DB

We loved Hasuno. Have been hoping for a new sushi place downtown Indy since we have been unimpressed with some of the previous options. We will be back! The Tokaido roll was delicious and the staff was so friendly and attentive!!
