Awesome little Thai restaurant. Had the drunken chicken for the first time. Very tasty dish I enjoyed it very much. Steamed dumplings and chicken egg rolls were awesome.

I have to admit, Htaw Metta was not our first choice on a Sunday evening, but our favorite Thai place was closed and the reviews were great so we gave it a try and so glad we did, a new go-to spot! We ordered takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Staff was very polite and friendly, even at the end of the day. Interior is pretty basic, don’t expect anything fancy. We ordered the banana fritters and chicken spring rolls for appetizers and both were good. The entrees is where things went to 5-stars! The Pad kra Prao with chicken was outstanding, perfect mix of vegetables and protein, super-flavorful, and spot on for spice level! Same for the yellow curry with chicken. Portions seemed fairly generous, we both had seconds with enough left over for one more meal from each. As with other Thai restaurants, prices seem a bit steeped compared to typical Chinese, but on par with other Thai restaurants and love that they have some Burmese options too. One word of caution, if you’re like us, it’s so darn good that you just may eat more than you planned!!

Our new restaurant favorite find! A couple of my friends go out to lunch once a week to restaurants in Indy we have not been to. This is the first one we went to two weeks in a row. Crab rangoons, samosas, dumplings were incredible. We have had everything from the beef curry, Thai noodles to the poke bowls, everything has been delicious. They clearly have focused on the food and not a pretentious atmosphere for the value is amazing. Shockingly, we have never had to wait to get a table.

The samosa's were really good. The spring rolls were okay. The crab rangoons were okay as well, not much in them and not much of a flavor. The shrimp meal with the noodles was good with a nice flavor.

The best Thai food in town! This spot has become my weekly staple. Delicious food made with love, generous portions, great prices, and relaxed atmosphere with good service. 10/10 recommend going here! I also love that I can get sushi and poke bowls in addition to the whole Thai menu.

The setting is a little plain but we could appreciate the effort that has been made. The service was prompt. The food is delicious and fresh. We had both the dumplings and crab rangoons as appetizers. Yum!! So good & (again) fresh! The portions of the main course were large enough to allow for leftovers to be taken away. I had noodles & will be coming back to try curry.

Best Thai food in Indy hands down. To start we got the crab rangoon. Which was fresh and delicious. The chicken dumplings were scrumptious with a little heat. We also got the samosas. Which were hearty and very tasty. For the main course we spilt the Pad kra Prao. The spicy sauce its cooked in was fantastic. Definitely will be frequenting this place.

This is an amazing little place that has great food & a great variety of Thai dishes. I met a friend here for lunch on a Wednesday & we had our choice of seats. The waiter brought menus & we began reading descriptions. I ordered a green curry with pork, rice & spring roll. My friend had a yummy dish with shrimp (don't know the name). My curry was spicy despite the waiter saying before hand it wouldn't be. Guess my Midwest taste buds disagreed BUT it was delicious! Veggies were nice & crunchy in it with tender pork pieces. White rice cooled my tongue. Spring roll was crisp. We finished off the birthday lunch with sticky rice with mango & coconut sauce. Service was very fast & fun to chat. Noticed several people came in for carry out orders.
