Oh My Gosh!! Don't wait, you have GOT to come to Indy Stout House to eat! I went with a friend after work and we both got the pork tenderloin with tator-tots. It was big enough we both could have had a sandwich from it. Plus ... the tator-tots were plentiful enough for two, to have a meal out of them. Leftovers are a definite thing in the future. They have burgers and pizza too... can't wait to try it all.

This is our favorite place! Great local bar, FABULOUS food, with best deep dish pizza in town! Tyler the bartender is amazing and remembers everything we like, he also has great knowledge of different drinks! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a laid back atmosphere with great food!

The local spot. Made a late night take out order and had a beer while I waited. Food and company were perfect.

Y'all I don't know bout this place. Tried to find their website through Yelp link. Called restaurant and a kinda rude gentleman told me the same website. I should have followed my instinct. Anyway called back and got same gentlemen who I was clearly annoying. Ordered pizza and fried mushrooms. Went to pick up. Bartender no mask. I should have left then. Pizza ok. Mushrooms needed seasoning but fried good. Several biker dudes hanging outside. Just a weird vibe. Not for me.

Decided to stop by Stout House since it's pretty close to where I live. It is located in a little strip mall off of 96th and Keystone, behind a big car rental place. They were currently renovating the exterior of the building, so the sign had been taken off. The inside was pretty dark and dreary, and very run down. It also had a thin layer of hazy smoke that permeated throughout the entire inside. It seemed like the kitchen has very poor circulation and the smoke from the kitchen was covering the restaurant. They didn't have any tap beers that I could see, which I thought was odd for a pub. My friend and I ended up getting mixed drinks, and the bartender offered two different sizes which was nice. The drinks are also reasonably cheap, which was a saving grace for this review. Based on other reviews, we decided to try the deep dish pizza and a side of pretzel sticks. Of note, the pizza takes about 45 minutes to make, so we decided to play some pool in the meantime. The pool table is free, which is nice if you don't have any cash on you. There was a group of regulars who were chatting it up with the bartender, in between stepping outside for smoke breaks. Unfortunately, as we waited for our pizza, one guy from the group who was extremely inebriated came up to us and insisted on buying us a round of shots. Normally, I'm not one to turn down free drinks, but this guy was so persistent and obnoxious that it was just annoying. After we hesitantly took him up on the offer, he continued to harass us and would not leave us alone. Needless to say, we requested the pizza to-go and left as soon as it came out.Thankfully the pizza was pretty good, since it cost $20. However, our overall experience was just lousy and I won't be back.

While I live only a few miles away, I learned about the Stout House on Yelp. After reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. I placed a carry out order for their deep dish pizza (pepperoni and sausage) and 12 wings (garlic & jalapeño BBQ) Since I placed a carry out order,my review is limited to talking about their absolutely AWESOME food They say a pictures can tell a story ... think the pictures included with this review convey the story of how good the food was ... have driven by the Stout House for years without stopping ... I guarantee my driving route will change to include the Stout House on my list of places to go ...

Best deep dish pizza in Indy and close to the best in Chicago if they were there. They could operate as just a pizza place.

A truly amazing place but who leaves the new guy (he said it was 2nd day) ALONE?!?!

They get a 5 because the Deep Dish Pizza is an absolute hidden gem on the north side. I'm not always a big fan of deep dish pie, but sometimes I'm in the mood for it. I'm very happy to have tried this for take out 45 minutes wait so be patient or order early. $20 price is really good considering you get a pizza that weighs a few bricks. Very tasty pizza sauce and they make their own dressings. Curbside service was fast and easy! Thank you to the owners and staff for satisfying our pizza craving.
