I have had MANY tacos in my day and thought that LA Street tacos were where it’s at but boy was I wrong! These tacos far surpass any joint here in Indy or beyond. They marinate their meats over night - and that’s where the magic resides. Tender, juicy chunks of pollo asado in a taco toasted with cheese (vampiro style) topped with pickled onion and cilantro. Ya they have sauce options but you dont even think about salsas once it’s in your mouth. By the time you notice them your taco is gone! Second fav is the fried mushroom, crispy, bigger than the taco itself and served with delicious sauce on top that binds everything together with the pickled onion for tang.10/10 recommend

This is an adorable taco shop tucked inside the stutz building. There is an outside seating in a beautiful courtyard. They had a great selection of Gluten Free tacos and they were delicious. The taco shop with flavors that never disappoint!!!Been here multiple times and will be back for more.The only downside is that there is not much room to sit inside and while there are plenty of chairs are outside but it’s a bit of a challenge when the weather is not nice.Vegetarian options: Mushroom taco

Got a suadero torta and one of each of the tacos. The torta was my favorite with killer bread and great meat. Excellent. Each of the tacos were amazing and different, with tons of varied flavors and textures, vegan and vegetarian to include everyone. I wish there was more seating inside but you can go over to the bar next door for more. Outside seating will be great when it's a bit warmerVegetarian options: They had a tempura fried mushroom taco that was killer as well as an asian broccoli taco that was incredible too

BEST TACOS IN INDIANAI've had tacos at a Michelin rated taco restaurant. I've had them at the best places in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Julieta Taco Shop is in the top category of amazing tacos. If you want tacos this good, there's nowhere in Indiana you'll find anything this good. You'd have to go to Chicago or LA to find anything at this level.The quality is too notch, from their handmade tortillas and variety of salsas to pick from. We had suadero, carnitas, and al pastor tacos and added different combinations of salsa. We really liked the spicy chipotle based sauce mixed with the medium tomato/garlic based sauce - amazing flavor that elevates the already juicy and flavorful meats.We're super excited to have finally found a good taco spot in Indy because the options on Mass Ave are NOT it. If you're looking for a taco spot, come here because I want this place to never go away. You can order from Julietta and then eat it at the bar next door where you can order a beer or whatever strikes your fancy. Otherwise of course, you can take your order home, but frankly, isn't that a bit boring?The tacos I ordered were excellent. There were a few choices of sauces, next time I'll use the sauce from the hottest bottle but then again I'm from New Mexico where we know this cuisine.Feel free to participate in the free exchange of culinary ideas!

Wowza, these are great tacos! My friend says these are the best tacos she's had outside of Mexico! We ordered basically one of everything. The tortillas are clearly homemade and very tasty. I had some of the mushroom taco and was surprised at all the tasty flavors - the mushrooms are just a vessel for them. A good vegetarian option! My favorites were the Al Pastor and the Pollo Asado. There are options to add on sides of guacamole, rice, beans, etc. A bit pricier than your local Mexican restaurant, but happy to pay it for quality, super fresh tacos. The shop is small, so order and sit next door at the bar or larger table with friends. Three salsas to try, too!
