Nothing wrong with our sever it was the kitchen was slow. We had reservations at 6:45 and arrived on time. Seat as soon as we walked in. Sever was great. Sever did not take our order until 7:15. Our food arrived at 8:05. My sweet potato fries were stone cold and the server replaced them fast. Either not enough servers or the kitchen is too slow. Same thing last time I was there. I will not come back!

We enjoyed a nice dinner. The restaurant was quite busy, as would be expected on a Saturday evening. Our server, Julia, was pleasant, attentive, and did a fine job. The food is consistently very good. We are never disappointed when dining here.

Dinner with friends at Kona Jack's was a great choice. While very busy, our server was excellent and the food timing was just right. After dinner we took the rest of our bottle of wine and wandered over to Après Jack's. Fun evening!

We always enjoy our experiences here! We did come for Valentine's Day and didn't have a great initial experience as our reservation was 10 minutes late as they sat others before us that came in much after us (and we were on time for our reservation). We were only a table of four, and the others that came after us were either the same party size, or a two people that were seated at a 4 top. We have been coming here for 20 years and have never experienced that. It definitely started the night off a little rough, but service was great once we were seated. I am glad we came back just a few days later to the service we are so used to experiencing.

The food was ok. The servers were negligent. Took really long time to take the order. We just sat there for like 30 mins. Forgot to bring in the dessert menu. Got some of the items wrong in the order. Really hard to get their attention for anything. Overall their menu is interesting. Unfortunately the hospitality is lackluster at best and disrespectful at worst. Did not feel welcome.

We have been dining at Kona Jacks for many years. Usually, we limit our reservations to special occasions, like. Valentines Day. We can always count on the food and service to be excellent. This year for Valentines Day, we ordered the Walleye along with a lobster roll from the Sushi Bar. Excellent!

Kona Jack's used to be an excellent, relaxing, good food place. I invited a friend and got a reservation on Open Table at Kona Jack's. The first in the door impression just in the door was that this decor is old. The seat cushions are flat. The colors are faded. Please invest in better chairs. Hint: uncomfortable. We both ordered sushi. It scored a solid 5 out of 10. Our waitress did a great job. Choose KJ's in your mind, but consider other places. I wanted this to be what I remembered.

This will be our last visit to Kona Jack's . Service was VERY slow and food was just ok. The waiter was much more concerned with taking care of his family than he was with taking care of us and other tables. A new grandchild is absolutely exciting but I wish we hadn't had to experience poor service because of it. 20 minutes after having ordered an appetizer the waiter asked if we wanted to order one! Had to ask for a 2nd glass of wine twice. Waited 15 - 20 minutes between the requests. Even when the waiter seemed to do what he was supposed to, it took forever for food to come out and was hard to taste past the salt. Again, won't be back. Too bad as this was a restaurant we used to really enjoy.

Made a reservation the day of. Got right in, and surprisingly didn't get seated outside the kitchen or the front door. The kitchen did a great job of timely apps and salads. Food was flavorful and hot. The sauces very good. A friend with us got the Ahi tuna (medium rare). He said it was dry. Next time, if he tries the tuna, he will order if rare. Jeff, our server, was busy, but attentive. As dinner progressed, the bar area got louder. It was almost closing so that's why I guess.
This is our go to seafood restaurant and this trip was no exception. Abby was terrific and even though my wife and I customized both our orders, Abby took it in stride and everything came out perfect. Highly recommended the Walleye and clam chowder hit the spot on a very cold night.

One of the best restaurants in Indianapolis! Freshest seafood and a broad menu of excellent dishes. Casual, relaxed atmosphere with outstanding service. I haven't found its equal!!

Another fantastic seafood meal. Fish cooked perfectly and seasoned well but not over powering the delicate sea bass. Our Server Julia was wonderful. Very helpful, friendly, and attentive. Great night out!

The food was very mediocre . Salad and crabcakes good, maincourse(grouper) wouldn't order again. Forgot to bring our bread until almost done with salads. I was treating my boyfriend to dinner for his birthday and was disappointed. I have always had good food at Daddy Jacks, so I thought that would be true at Konas.
