Treated ourselves to yummy food and margaritas! I got the fajita which was fantastic!! The service was good and everything tasted amazing! The prices are good and you get a lot of food. Would recommend their queso and the traditional margarita. It was clean and we did not have to wait long for anything.

Frequent La Cantina often for dinner. Staff are almost always friendly even when some clearly are not English as a first language users. The food is good and the place is clean. The bathrooms are always clean, which is a good sign. The couple carryouts i bought were well-packaged and extras included so you can actually eat in your car and not have to run home for utensils and napkins. Manny is always esp friendly and helpful to clients and staff. It's a much needed dine-in restaurant in the neighborhood.
Ran into an old friend and decided to go to the restaurant to catch up. Sat at the bar and ordered house margaritas ate salsa and chips and talked for 3 hours. I do t think their was a bartender on duty but the waitress knew her way around the bar and my time there was okay.

Mediocre Mexican food for a mediocre demographic. I've never had ground beef mess served over my Tamales. The tamale lady in L.A. was way better then this. She used to push them things around in her little shopping cart and they were fire. Also the host had a bit of an attitude when I showed up for my order. I told him it was online and he seemed to not know anything about it. He did quickly change his tune when he turned around and actually looked for my order which was sitting on the table right behind him. Smh

Considering this place adds a "to go charge" fee to all carry out orders, they would at least take the time to make sure they give you everything you ordered. -John
9/29/23Update***** a lot has changed in the last month! Would not recommend the Carnitas they were terrible no flavor no seasoning and they weren't even fried like they were supposed to be. Stick with the fajitas seem to be the best thing on the menu. Customer service was lacking today :-(Awesome food. Customer service ???Reasonable prices.

It’s rare that I take time out to review a restaurant but for the sake of my experience I’d like to save someone a trip if possible. I ordered a veggie burrito today and the vegetables were frozen not fresh. They also were not cooked well. My server was very rude and I felt conflicted leaving a tip even though the service was very distasteful. He was slow to address my concerns and when my concerns was voiced he was short and snappy. I won’t be visiting this place again and I won’t be recommending this to anyone I personally know. Again I’m only making this review because of how poor the food and service was.

So I ordered a double shot of Don Julio, 1942 which is advertised at 1399 upon receiving my bill I am charged 2099 per shots. I spoke with the manager and although it is illegal to advertise one price and charge another, she refused to adjust the bill So I am writing this restaurant at one. I will never spend my money here again. I would rather go to the taco truck. They are crooks.
