This was a solid B+.I had a mimosa flight, but the options were very limited. Peach is normal. Orange is normal. Cranberry is normal. Pineapple is normal. I had a blueberry one. That was a bit interesting, but let’s get more creative with our flights! Mango is good. Passionfruit is good. Pineapple orange guava is good. Watermelon mimosas are excellent and refreshing. Strawberry purée? Blackberry purée? Or you could go more exotic. Soursop? A flight with different types of bitters would be fantastic. Let’s mix some things up! These all felt fairly standard. And you could really do something fun with the flight flavors. My husband had a flavored, jumbo mimosa, and it wasn’t that large, certainly not jumbo, and it mostly tasted like the pineapple flavor.I had the salmon Benedict with a side of poached eggs, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. That was our best dish.My husband had the pancake tacos and had a really really hard time eating them. They were terribly messy. I applaud the concept, but the execution was way off. And the syrup flavor overwhelmed everything. My son had a chicken sandwich, and he said it was good. The server was good, and the host was excellent, and chatty; we had some great conversations about Indianapolis and the odd drinking laws and seating laws, since we had a party with someone under 21.The atmosphere was good, but it was a little chilly.I had heard so many great things about this place that I expected it to really wow me, and it was good, but it certainly wasn’t over-the-top good.Let’s get more creative with those mimosa flavors in the future!

Have had 1 bad experience here and 1 really positive. The good: the first visit was amazing. Had the appetizers of Aioli Parmesan fries and the fried chicken tacos. Service was great, food was amazing, and drinks were amazing. I had the steak and frites for entree and brother got Brussels Sprouts with chicken. The bad: the second time was last night. It was still good, but the service wasn’t great at all (we only ordered one round of alcoholic drinks bc it took that long to get a drink). The food was still good and the alcoholic drinks we got were amazing but it just took a while to get the drinks. The non alcoholic drinks though, came quickly bc there was a server just for non alcoholic drinks.Overall, it’s a 4/5. Solid food, vibes, and the live jazz band was an add on, but could have been better service wise (both our server being present and quicker delivery of food and drinks). Food temps were sub par.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Tacos, Duck Fat Frites with Truffle Aioli

The food was amazing. The chicken was super juicy. Definitely going to have to recommend the chicken and waffles. I loved everything and while it's a bit expensive. The amount of food you get I makes the price reasonable

Service was horrific. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for SALAD! Mgr was rude and unprofessional. Very unapologetic, didn't care. Refused to accommodate my friend for the inconvenience and charged full price. The bad part of it all was that it was our very first time at Louvino. Secondly, it was recommended by a board member.

Our food was very good and the location is great, and most of the time that's all you need. What detracted from the experience were our slow and slightly forgetful server, the chilly temperature of the room, and the prices, which seemed kind of high for a not-so-upscale place. Our overall rating is Good, mainly because of the quality of the food.

The server was fabulous. It took nearly 40 min to get the wine after ordering and when we orders the restaurant was not yet full. Our food arrived shortly about 15 min later. Thus, we only had one beverage. If the wine had arrived sooner, we'd have had time for more. All of the food was incredibly delish. One person had the risotto with scallops, another the salmon and the last had the gnocchi, which is a signature dish. All tasted fabulous, however the gnocchi was barely enough to qualify as a single appetizer with just 10 little gnocchi in a cream sauce with two fried sage leaves. Yep, left awfully hungry and went down the street for something else to eat. Oh well.. I will go back, but will check the portion size first before ordering. There seemed to be great variation on the portion size of the entrees. You expect to pay more for shellfish and scallops or steak, but the portions were also three times the size of the gnocchi which cost $2.20 each!

Had a pre-concert dinner at Louvino last evening. It was so convenient to the Murat. We were able to walk there from the Bottleworks. Our server Christina was friendly charming and helpful. We were able to sample 2 wines before choosing a nice bottle of Les Volets Chardonnay. It was a nice pairing with the scallop and shrimp risotto as well as the gnocchi. Both dishes were delicious. The risotto was more tight than creamy but I like mine that way. Risottos itself was really tasty. The scallops were good sized perfectly seared and succulent as were the shrimp. I'd order this dish again. My husband praised the gnocchi as “the best I've ever had largely because of the amazingly good sauce. Lest I forget the warm Brussels sprouts salad was just yummy. Wish you had a location in Columbus!

I picked LouVino because I really enjoyed a girls day at the one in Fishers a couple of years back. When my friend asked where I wanted to go and I saw the Mass Ave location near me I jumped on that. I love the mimosa flight and the fried green tomatoes are amazing. The staff was really friendly and accommodating to last minute changes. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

The goat cheese appetizer was good. Our entrees were mediocre. Cocktails were mediocre. Filet was overcooked. Service was not great and they were not that busy. Bill was $200 and I don't have anything to rave about but the appetizer. It was not worth the money. I will not return.

The host was extremely rude! Came in early to get a drink before our reservation wouldn't sit us at our table had us go to the bar dat for maybe 5 minutes with no acknowledgement from the bartender I'm sure you can check the cameras, wasn't told that whole time before we were finally taken to our table that they were pretty much out of all there food, the waitress was apparently also working the bar she clearly was getting no help from management. Took 30 minutes to get our order in food was horrible clearly rushed. Horrible experience for my friends birthday. The excuse of being so busy cause it's all star weekend is trash had since 2020 to prepare we are still spending our money and you're still taking it.

Brussel sprouts were fire. Best I've ever had. Steak mediocre at best and overcooked. Service is slow but to be fair it was super busy. I would go back again and try something different.

I went from Indianapolis to NYC for work and I think it provides great context for my rating. Shrimp and lobster pasta at a historic restaurant in Manhattan (Frauences) is $2 cheaper than the shrimp risotto at LouVino on Mass Ave. A fogger of a martini in NYC was $1 more than a 1.5oz vodka soda on Mass Ave. Our two dishes took 45+ minutes to come out and when they did the chicken on one was cold. They're modeled as a wine restaurant and don't have one red sauce pasta on their menu, which I think might be classified as a war crime in Italy (have an inquiry out to the Hauge about it). Some of the FOH staff were the only redeeming quality at this price point.

I do not recommend LouVino on Mass. I do not recommend the sirloin. The sirloin was overcooked and just an all-around poor piece of meat. I recommend the shrimp and grits and the salmon tried both dishes of friends. I won't be returning because of the poor customer service; I mean, just a blatantly rude manager. It pains me anytime I have to write a less than positive review, but the facts are the facts, and this was my experience. I won't be returning. Highly recommend Fountain Room newest Bottle works restaurants, Wine and Market Table, and Salt on Mass!

Firstly… it smelled of sewage which ruined my appetite. Secondly… the waitress Courtney wasn’t attentive AT ALL. We were charged a 20% gratuity for mediocre service. Lastly… the food was blaaaaaand. Like flavorless bland. Nobody in our party enjoyed their meal. We paid and left to go to long horn.
