I have bought here twice. The first time what I bought tasted a little old (it wasn't fresh) and I said ok that can happen. The second time I had to vote everything in the trash, it was all hard as concrete. I have a very good experience with Mama Ines from Lafayette, it's a shame that this one from Indianapolis has such poor quality.

Good pastries without the super sweet taste. Unfortunately, it's just a little pricey to make it a routine stop.

Besides being primarily a Mexican bakery, they sell hot tamales for $1.99/each; they also seem to be selling packages of 4 refrigerated chicken red-rojos tamales for $5.99; or 2 such 4 packs for $9.99. ??️ The hot-cooked Jalapeño with Cheese tamale I had was particularly good: peppery taste, and spicier-hot than anything I can remember getting from a restaurant in Indy; but still far less than "OMG I need water" hot.Along with smaller pastries, they sell cakes, including those made from a cake catalogue book.Using tongs & platters to take bakery goods to the cashier should be simple enough; but communicating in English on more complex orders could prove difficult.

I visited the Lafayette location first and loved it. I was so excited there was one closer to my house. The selection is amazing, the staff is super sweet and friendly and I have yet to get a single item that wasn't delicious.

The prices are expensive for the quality of the bread.

I give it 5 stars and if they had more I would give more firstly for the quality of the bread Secondly for its excellent staff, very good attention and not to mention its extraordinary cleanliness
