There are so many open seats ans it still took 45 min to seat for 1 person. There is no urgency with this store. This store is so slow I have seen at least 20 people walk away after waiting 20-25 min

Our office had this catered in on Wednesday. Collard greens and Mac and cheese were awesome, and I had some of the best chicken wings I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to try everything else.

So good. The cabbage and greens were the best I’ve ever had. We also got the meatloaf and green beans and loved every bit. Sorry no pics because it was gone so quick.

I was wanting to takeout dinner from somewhere new to me and in the area before heading home. I looked in my Yelp collection (bookmarks) and for some reason, I saved Paleo Soul as a place to try. I researched where it is located and the menu. By the way, it is in front of Sam's Club on 96th St. in Indy with the only parking lot entry west of Tire Discounters. Paleo Soul is closed a few days out of the week. They use Facebook to inform before opening at noon about the specials (until 2 pm) and menu of the day. I would suggest you call ahead to see if any items are sold out and be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes. As another person has Yelped, the pleasant smell of the paleo sweet potato hit me as I opened the takeout container. I could not tell how they made the sweet potato paleo but it tasted normal. I ordered the lightly herb seasoned turkey leg, which I was asked if I wanted gravy (on the side please - oh, it looked a little oily but I used it all on the tender meat). Although Pepsi decor is on their wall, they do not carry Pepsi products but Faygo canned sodas. Also, they ran out of my requested grape soda so I got an orange one. The entree + side + drink for $10.99 surprisingly included a dinner roll. So, now I purchased my 1st paleo (P designation on their menu board) side. I plan to go back and try other entrees with a side and drink (and maybe a dinner roll, hehe). The turkey chop, spicy chicken wings, etc. are drawing me back. FYI. The restaurant makes other food that are not paleo. I wish they have more options of paleo.

I LOVE this place!! It is a bit north however beyond worth the drive. Always receive the best service and they owner is always on site and super friendly and nice. I've been many times and every meal just gets better! I've had the pleasure of enjoying the garlic herb & blackened salmon, turkey leg with rice, salmon cakes . ALL of her sides are amazing !! The collards with cabbage, mac & cheese, tatertot casserole, sweet potatoes and glazed carrots are just BOMB!! Follow them on FB and IG!! Your palate will NOT be disappointed.

I normally do not go to "soul food" restaurants because in my experience it always has been overpriced over salted food with mediocre to bad service. Well my visit today quite the surprise, I stop in today for the first time and I was greeted by Dana (?) She was very professional, polite and courteous. She took my order and to my surprise they had everything on the menu, unlike most other places. I ordered the blackened salmon with Macaroni and cheese, green beans and cabbage and greens. To be honest I was expecting to be let down by salty mushy food, but to my surprise EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!? FLAVOR EXPLOSION ?THE SEASONINGS WERE PERFECT!?I didn't even use the hot sauce I asked for, I didn't use the salt and pepper packets, it all tasted very good. The salmon was prepared perfectly. The owner also came out to check on me and that let me know that she takes pride in her work and stands by her products. Now with Christmas coming up, I may just have to order some half pans of sides and save myself the trouble of cooking all that food. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back, the portions were good, and the price was fair.

First time visiting this spot. The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu, and the owner introduced herself with a covid friendly elbow bump! My husband and I both ordered the pork steak and sweet potatoes and got carrots and broccoli. Everything was super yummy, and paleo friendly! Food is made to order so we waited about 15 minutes in the car and went back in. Worth the wait, and happy to discover a new local take-out spot!
