We stopped here on our way to Ohio, and we are so glad we did! Charming decor, and the menu had plenty of items to choose from! The pork tenderloin sandwich was very yummy . I will try the Bangers and Mash next time I stop by. Service was excellent, too, and the bartender was very attentive and friendly.

Hidden Gem!! This place has delicious food, quick services, and great drinks! The foods pretty authentically English and has a great atmosphere. We stumbled upon it while staying and Indianapolis and will definitely be back if we’re ever in town. Definitely recommend the bangers and mash!

REALLY BAD SERVICE. We went in on a Sunday night at 8pm and it said OPEN outside, as soon as we walked in we got kicked out by the one serve with long beard because "he was the only server" we told him we were going for drinks and he told us he couldn't do it still. Second time we got kicked out was on a Monday. I checked the hours online to make sure we weren't gonna get kicked out again, as soon as we walk in at 9:30pm, the same server kicked us out while only 3 people were inside saying it was closed and the hours are wrong. REALLY BAD SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN.

You cannot go wrong with the fish and chips! A friend and me went to dinner at Red Lion on Sunday. The restaurant was not very busy. I ordered the curry and chips and it came out quickly. The curry had a bit of spice to it. I liked it. My friend did not. The chip aka fries were good. Our dinner came out right after getting our appetizer. I ordered the fish and chips and it was excellent. The batter on the fish had a good crunch. It came with a small cup of slaw and tartar sauce. There was malt vinegar and other condiments on the table. One thing I didn't like was not the restaurants fault. There is a club next door and the bass from the music was very loud and distracting while we were trying to talk. I was surprised it was so loud at 4:30 on a Sunday.

This was my second time to the Red Lion. Both times the service and food was excellent! The wait staff both times, different staff, were very attentive to our needs. Always making the food was to our liking and drinks were refreshed. I highly recommend the Fish and chips!! Very large pieces of fish and the chips are freshly made each day! To top it off, Tuesday's and Thursday's are trivia night , which makes for a fun and friendly atmosphere!

Grew up in downtown Indy. Been going here my whole life but came back while on leave from across the country since I don’t get to come home often and decided to introduce my wife to it.Not the same as it used to be. I know the economy isn’t doing great but please explain what world it makes sense to pay 10 dollars for 1 scotch egg unless each piece of it is decently sized.Shepards pie was good but still felt like a small portion.Half order of fish and chips was very good. Strongly recommend it.Wife got the portobellos mushroom which was extremely over seasoned and was kinda disgusting. Also some of her food was downright cold.I cannot get over the 10 dollar egg. It sucks that our experience was immediately bogged down by that especially because I had been hyping it up to my wife before we got there.Came here last year too, Completely different experience. Didn’t have a single problem and normally I never leave a restaurant upset or slightly mad but for what we got it just feels like a giant waste of money.Also the server didn’t even bother to introduce himself, make small talk, or even act polite.It was a Saturday night and the entire restaurant was empty by the time me and my wife left and the whole time we were there they were blaring very poorly mixed music that made no since being mixed together. Also it’s a British food/bar. Why am I hearing Michael Jackson’s beat it and then Lizzo all within the span of 30 seconds only to make a poor transition to another artist.

Walk the shops and grab a bite at this delectable little spot! The landshire roast on a bed of mashed potatoes will literally transport you to your grandma's kitchen table.Parking: May be a bit difficult to find a spot super close, but it's worth the walk of you end up down the block. There's a parking lot on the backside of the block, just be aware of the parking signs.

I had a really great time here with some close friends. The atmosphere is fun and cozy. They were playing the BEST R&B playlist that day! The food was good and the staff was super nice. The espresso martini is a must! Everything on the menu sounded amazing, but I chose the chicken fingers and fish. I don't eat a ton of fried food, so it was a bit much for me but had great flavor and the portion was just right. My friends enjoyed their meals. Don't pass on dessert either. The bread pudding was so delicious.
