Finally got a chance to go to this restaurant with some friends. It is a hole in the wall place. Seems like a lot of local people have gone for years. I enjoyed being there and the food was good. I did notice that the noise level was up making it hard to talk in a normal manner.Sometimes this is just the way it goes. Definitely worth a visit. I will give them a second chance.

First, we frequent this place regularly for the past year. That said, the St Patty’s Day special was extremely disappointing. Corned beef very tough, cabbage had good flavor but needed a steak knife to cut it, ?, red potatoes were great. I have had CB sandwiches there that were fantastic. Maybe a 1 off, normally v good service, not so much on Sunday. Will try again, just not St Paddy’s day I guess.

Today was our first visit to the Rusty Bucket and I will say that even though we do not live in Indy we will definitely be coming back to town to eat here. This was some of the best food we have had in a long time.

I love the Rusty Bucket! It's a neighborhood hangout as well as a great place for business lunch or lunch with friends. The brussel sprout appetizer is the best I have had! The food is consistently great! You won't be disappointed!
