Nice looking bar, pool table and nice amount of seats as well as a TV's. The service was terrible. Rex was cordial and took care of our tables, he was one of the servers/bartenders. But his manager was TERRIBLE! We didn't catch his name, unfortunately... We had a large group, maybe 15 in total. We had young and old in our party and had three to four tables. They typically don't do table service and make you order from the bar, drinks and food. However, Rex did a great job accommodating a few of our parents who are older. We had a family member in our group who had a cough. The manager came over and stood in front of us all and said, "you have to leave!" You are contaminating our bar and you all have to leave. He is not sick and simply had a deep cough. He has been evaluated a number of times and has been told by FP& ENT, he has been using his vocal cords too much and has caused him to have a cough. He stayed between our tables and there weren't many others in the bar. We basically had most of the bar to ourselves. We asked if he was kidding and he said, no, you must leave our bar. Honestly felt like he is a hypochondriac, and probably shouldn't be in the bartending or management position. The way he made our family member feel and the way he went about the situation was simply poor. If in the area, bypass this bar and support other bars in the area.

Yes, this is in the Omni Hotel and that makes it very convenient, if you're staying here. But if you didn't order beer or something on draft. It seems to take the food and the mixed drinks a while to make their way to you, especially the food, and it really wasn't that busy when we were there. But both are very delicious when they did arrive. It almost seems like another part of the hotel does their food, which makes it longer to get there. But other than that, I enjoyed my experience.

I haven't left a review in a while, but the food here was worth me pausing to do so! I ordered the grain bowl with salmon and a side of truffle fries. All of the food was bursting with flavor and just the right amount to not feel satisfied but not overly stuffed afterwards. The prices also weren't bad compared to the surrounding area restaurants. Wish I found this place sooner during my work trip (today's my last day).

I would characterize my experience at Severin Bar as "Typical Hotel Bar". Food was good, but nothing remarkable, the prices were unnecessarily expensive and the service was good. Got the burger with fries and it was everything I was looking for in a quick meal. Their tap list was running quite short with 3 of the local brews unavailable. Wish they were open a little later, seemed like 9pm was pretty early for a bar.

This is a great bar, not sure why the poor reviews, I can only assume that the happy drinkers left too merry to remember to write a review! We love coming here to play shuffle board, pool, and drink cocktails. Luke is our favorite bar keep!

Wouldn't accept my drink vouchers from the hotel. Drinks and food were pretty pricey, and the food was just alright. It's fine for a hotel bar, but isn't as upscale as the price and decor would suggest.

Ridiculously expensive. 1 glass of wine and a Moscow mule for $40?! We should have attempted to crash the wedding next door, the bail would have been cheaper than the drinks at the bar.
Too Expensive. Not sure what else to say, but I have to type 70 words minimum.....kinda silly. When ridiculous prices pretty much cover it. Too many other options in Indy when it comes to great places to eat and drink; take the District Tap for example.

This place is an unbelievable rip off. I just paid $9.27 for a can of beer, not including the tip. The menu doesn't even specify which beers are draught and which are cans. Worse, when I walked in they were showing a hockey playoff game on one TV and some random TV show with the sound off. I asked to watch a baseball game instead of the show. When one bartender asked what channel it's on, I told her MLB network and she replied, "That doesn't really help me." She did figure out how to switch it over, but after several minutes they switched all 3 sets to hockey (the fourth screen appears to be broken). I asked her what happened to baseball and she said, "I have no idea." I asked the other bartender if there is any reason they can't show both and he said, "Don't be so passive aggressive." Absolutely horrible service.

I hate giving less than favorable reviews but the service was non-existent. We sat at a table for 20 minutes and no one came to us. We went to the bar to get a menu and drinks. The lady behind the bar totally ignored us. Stood there a good 10 minutes. We could hear other patrons sitting at the bar complaining about the lack of service as well. Its not like they were slammed, she just appeared lazy. While at the bar a gentleman came to the table to take orders. He was older and provided outstanding service. Worked circles around the lady tending bar. A lot of missed opportunity in my opinion. I saw people come and go ordering nothing due to lack of service or even acknowledgement. The food was outstanding once we finally got service. This is a really nice place..if we would have had decent service would be 5 stars.
