Went here for the 1st time today and I was very impressed and it was very delicious and will definitely come back again when I come back to Indianapolis.

Was there on 3/23/24 and ordered a beer with dinner. Waitress brought the beer out and I took a sip and something on the glass stuck to my lip. I pulled it off- it was glass. So I let the waitress know that the glass was broken and that I had glass on my rim. She said nothing just “oh ok.” I took the piece of glass and showed her (after I had cut my lip and had two cuts on my hand). She took the piece of glass and put it in the trash and said “ I will throw it away.” Well later in the night I found cuts inside of my mouth - wondering if I drank some of the glass. Also- waitress seemed not concerned one bit, and seemed distracted and tired of dealing with people. Food was ok but the service I was NOT impressed with!!!

Wednesday March 20th around 6pm. Me my son and daughter in law meet here to eat. We all love the homemade chips. Our food was ok the chips dip taste a little greasy this time. My potato soup was barely warm it wasn't cold so I didn't complain and it wouldn't d have mattered anyway. Our waiters Megan with blond hair and a rose tattoos on right arm was either sleepy, sick or something else. You could barely understand what she was saying and she would come back forgetting what she was supposed to be getting. When she did come back it she was gone for a while. My daughter in law didn't even get her drink till after the food arrived and that was the second drink she asked for. The first drink was a Shallo mixer ( angry orchard mixed with something) Megan told us the don't have it on tap but had it in the bottle but couldn't use the bottle to make the drink. So she picked a Bloody Mary which then did not come till after the food. . Not happy.

Shallos Antique Restaurant & Brew House was great. I visited with a colleague on a work trip, and we both thought it was outstanding. Alexis was top notch, she’s very knowledgeable on the beer options & food, and took great care of us. We both had the “Ribeye Steak” medium rare and they were done perfectly. The “Cajun Tips” were really good, as were the house made chips. The “Onion Rings” were really good as well. Shallo’s is definitely on my return list next time I’m in the area.
Scratch all the wonderful compliments. Whether it was not enough kitchen help or servers, the service in general was worst than waiting for food at McDonald’s and being told to pull around while your meal cooks. Tables were left wondering anyone notices them, the managers were standing upstairs and watching nothing getting accomplished. The only time we got asked for refills was when we got the bill. Speaking of time, from the time we sat to when we got the bill, 2hrs. 45 minutes before we got asked what we would like to eat. Not a good impression on a regular customer that has raved about your place. No excuses for that, please get it fixed or be another staple closing due to great food but poor service.

Came in for dinner on Feb 2, 2024. The dinner started out fine. The waitress asked for our drink orders and got us our drinks quickly then disappeared for 20 mins. When she finally came to take our order she apologized saying she was busy. We had no issue with this. The food came out ice cold 40 mins later and our waitress did not check on us once in that time to even top up our drinks which were empty. We tried to waive her down to tell her about the food. She ignored us, so I had to ask another waitress if she could have our waitress come over. When she finally came over we told her the food came out cold. She said okay and took our food. When the food came back out again the drinks were still empty and she finally filled up our drinks. The food was warm but barely. She never came back to check if the food was warm or okay. No manager ever came to check on us either. The only time we saw our waitress again was when she dropped of the checks. I was charged an extra $0.50 for something called open food. No idea what this was. I quess I was charged for the small cup of A1 sauce that came with my steak sandwich. I spent 80% of my time at the restaurant without a drink and without service. Our waitress Nevaeh was rarely seen and only came to our table when we asked another waitress to see her. A very poor and shocking experience.

Today my husband and I took my sister out for lunch along with our son. Our waitress, Alexis, was phenomenal. She was very attentive to our needs and checked in with us often. Alexis remained professional while making friendly conversation with us which made us feel welcome. The food was wonderful as usual and came out quickly after we ordered it. We were overall impressed with the service given by Alexis and the restaurant/food in general.
