The staff here are very nice. The place is very clean and welcoming! I got the create your own one with the same ingredients as the California roll but with cream cheese, as well, along with the gluten free soy sauce (upon request). It was SO GOOD. I'm so glad I got two. Also, my price was just under $16 for two rolls of 12 pieces each!! I can't have gluten, and I didn't have any reactions to the sushi nor the gf soy sauce.

A great "fast food" take on sushi. Easily customizable with great signature rolls, Sushi Boss is a cool place for sushi beginners and those that need sushi in a quick way. The service is typically pretty good, of course when they are a little busier it's not always as friendly. The environment is clean, bright.

This is a really nice little sushi establishment. We needed a quick bite before going to the ballet. I have lots of dietary restrictions, and the manager helped me with all my questions, so I made the right choices. You get plenty of food. I got "that 1 roll" but had to leave the crab salad off. If I had left that on, I would not have been able to finish my meal! It was named appropriately because it had so much in it. I like the short rib beef, yes in a sushi roll! The cucumber salad was tasty. Tangy and swèet but a little too sweet for me. However you might need that to cool your mouth depending on what sauce you get. They gave me about 5 different saces to try. The manager wrote the name of each one on a receipt paper and placed it under each sauce! Hiw nice is that?! The creamy Wasabi sauce burned my mouth and brought tears to my eyes. But what do u expect from wasabi right? I found a sweet sauce and mixed a little Wasabi in it added some soy sauce and badabing! The owner came over to talk to us and gave the kids a cookie I think... something sweet. The manager and owner were very nice and very attentive to the customers.

Ordered two shrimp tempura rolls and was very pleased! The staff was sooooooooo nice! The manager came and talked to everyone in the dining area and the crew happily answered questions my companion had about the ingredients and her dietary needs. They have a lot of sauces to choose from as well, including your faves like eel sauce and yum yum sauce (called their signature names of course). We dinned on a Wednesday early evening and were able to get in and order quickly. I'd recommend Sushi Boss especially if you have an event nearby, as we did, at the Madame CJ Walker building.

Ordered through DoorDash and our order got picked up but didn’t get delivered, so we were refunded, and I had to call up to store and Amanda helped and said our order had been picked up, but then canceled, and we needed to reorder our order, we ordered our order and then it got delivered quickly! Thanks Amanda for your help! Most employees at restaurants that do DoorDash don’t care if you get your food or not, but she helped make sure we got ours! ? we love sushi boss!
