Today is my first day ever in Indianapolis, and as I was doing some DoorDash.. stumbled upon this brewery, and I thought to myself.. why not? Been a long 9 hour drive across Kentucky up to Indiana.. Why not?Oh my word! This Brewery is IT! My first beer was a simple sour Blackberry (the red drink) and damn it hit the spot for $7! Then I got the Dragonfly IPA (because ya boi loves those IPAs) and it’s $4 today! Perfect! Got two Dragons! Yes!I ordered the Blue Cheese Fume burger which is somewhat spicy but filled with with rich, savory flavors and oh it’s soooooo GOOOD!!!! The fries are crisp and delicious!!!If you come to Indianapolis and want some good food and have money…UPLAND BREWING CO. 100% !!

Service slow. Appetizer order did not get placed. Brought one meal in error, had to wait for correct order to be served. Food was good, but nothing to rave about. Fish was overcooked to a hard crisp on Fish N Chips

Our evening at Upland could hardly have been better. We were three couples from our block who dine together occasionally. When we arrived, the host checked our reservation and started sitting us at a table in a traffic area near the front door on a cold night. We asked if we could be put in a quieter place and put us in a small room behind the main dining room. Perfect. Our server, who was quick and cheery, took all our orders by memory and split the bill exactly as we asked. The food was great (nice twist how Upland replaces ham in a Cuban sandwich with pulled pork!). Our server checked our status frequently and did not rush us when we were finishing. Really a fun, casual meal.

No bill transparency from young waiter, poor communication skills, no eye contact - seemed annoyed from the moment he greeted us.Didn’t write order down and then forgot multiple things when food arrived. Took it off the bill he said but we never saw a bill he just ran a card for a total at the table on a mobile device.2 beers a salad and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich meal for $70?He was about 5’9” curly red hair in a hat on 12/27/23. Bummer cause the kitchen seemed great, food was good but training needs addressed at this location.

My husband and I love Upland on college st. We live right around the corner and it’s a staple for us. Solid food and drinks. The bloody Marys are a Sunday must have as well as the biscuits and gravy. All the burgers are great! Of course they have a beer for everyone!

We were greeted immediately and seated at a table somewhat near the door so there was a small draft, but not too terribly bad. It was tolerable. There was good music playing and it was brightly decorated for the season. My wife had their Bad Elmer porter beer and sampled their Teddy Bear Kisses imperial stout beer. She enjoyed them both. I just had a Diet Coke to drink.We had the roasted garlic hummus plate to start with. The hummus was nice, thick, smooth and flavorful with soft and warm pita triangles, blue corn tortilla chips, sliced sweet peppers, sliced cucumber, and sliced grape tomatoes. It was wonderful and perfect for an appetizer that didn't fill us up too much before dinner.I had a medium rare beer cheese burger that had beer cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and sautéed onions. I added mayonnaise to it. It was cooked perfectly, the beer cheese gave it a nice tangy flavor, the onions were nicely sautéed and tasty. The whole burger was mouthwatering good. I had fries with my burger that were warm with the perfect amount of crisp; not overdone and not droopy.My wife had the blue flame burger, it was cooked medium and had blue cheese, jalapeño, lettuce, and onion, she also had fries with her burger. She really enjoyed her burger and fries as well. She commented often just how good it was.I wish I could remember our server's name. She was really nice, she had really pretty glasses that had a sort of silver glitter around the edges. She was very nice, attentive, helpful, professional, and friendly.For anyone who is vegetarian, they have plenty of options for you as well. You would love the roasted garlic hummus plate and if you want a burger, they have impossible meat you can substitute with along with other options throughout the menu.It was a pricey meal, but well worth every penny!
