For years we enjoyed this place but today’s was terrible. The shrimp weren’t cleaned, cold, and greasy when we opened the box. I do not believe these were freshly fried. Honestly, I feel robbed.

Best place on the Westside to get fish that is fresh and has the taste of the ocean. It is a travel but it is worth it to have real tasting fish. Don't get me wrong, the places close to home are good, but every once in awhile you want something real an Van's Market is a great place to go!

I thought the place was closed. It used to be the go to for buying fresh fish. The cat fish was felted 3-4inches too thick. I'm so sorry about what is going on there.
Had catfish is was soggy. Not cooked long enough this place been around for years but I think they've fallen off a bit. I think I'm going to learn how to cook at home. The other culture's food has been a little creepy lately. Hey my culture's food has been creepy lately too!

Bought a striped bass from here today and it was ROTTEN! They leave the fish out for too long and just keep pouring ice over it. STAY AWAY!!!

I love Vans! BUT!!!! Today I ordered Catfish FILLETS and when I picked up and checked it was Steaks. Tell me why the man gone say yes those are fillets! Ummm sir I’m not a stupid person and know what the difference is! These are steaks! Better be glad I love them too!
