Went for lunch and the place was nearly empty. That should have been the first clue. Served a sandwich with really no seasoning. Dressed with wilted brown lettuce and large chunks of onions. The French fries were not cooked completely. The other sides apparently came right out of a can or container. Not worth the $ and definitely won't be back. Seriously in need of a revamp. Sad state of affairs.

Have been many times for breakfast. In and out quickly and the service is always friendly & efficient. Food is basic but good. Setting is unique and going back in time. Great place and will fill you up. Good value!

I love the grouchy older guy that's there in the mornings serving breakfast. Assuming he's the owner since anyone else with that kind of attitude would've been canned in their first week. My favorite thing there is the biscuits and gravy with a big scoop of eggs on top. If you're one of those people that don't like your food to touch, you should still man up and try it just once. You'll thank me later. I like to eat there rather than getting it to go because you get to sit at these cool picnic tables with glass tops that are filled with dozens of pictures of old people. I don't recognize any of them, but they're fun to stare at while I eat my fried fish.

We go to Wheatley's for the Friday fish fry. This is an old school fish fry. The fish is delicious. One of my friends had the tenderloin sandwich and enjoyed it quite a bit. Overall we have been to Wheatley's three times and each time the food quality is consistently delicious.
We loved it! 15 dollars for a fish dinner to share. Bring cash cause it's a 4% charge on your card. All condiments you need is available. Staff is friendly and kind. Picnic style tables inside to enjoy your food.
