The overall experience at this breakfast restaurant was underwhelming. While the service was decent, the food was mediocre at best. Additionally, the wait time for our meals was exceptionally long, lasting for an hour and a half. Considering the quality of the food and the extended wait, I wouldn't highly recommend this place.

Ambiance - quiet restaurant but not in an intimate way. In a "afraid to talk too loud because someone might hear our whole conversation" way. So you have to whisper if you want to be comfortable conversing.Service - greeted and seated promptly. But then it took a long time for our order to be taken (it was not busy when we were there; around 8am on a Monday) and then it took even longer for our food to be delivered. No apologies or care in the world for the fact that we were served food outside of our dietary restriction. Seemed to generally just not care and could overhear in the next table the server saying "we're out of most things... do you want me to list all of the things we're out of?"Food - Coffee served cold. I had the Steak Bennie... which was bland and unseasoned. The meat was chewy.. like a grade below USDA Choice (not prime). There was a damp/soiled napkin on my plate next to my steak/eggs under my bowl of grits (so a tiny bowl of grits sitting on top of this damp napkin which was then on my larger plate). My wife ordered chilaquiles with pulled chicken. Server came back after a short while and said they were out of pulled chicken (see above -- they're out of most things) and asked if she just didnt want pork, in which case he said they could make it with turkey sausage. She went with his recommendation and later as she was eating she discovered bits of bacon in the chilaquiles (which doesnt make sense... the chilaquiles typically is either pulled chicken or chorizo... yet there's still bacon in it). Pointed this out and the server didn't apologize for our experience or seem to care. Asked if we'd like a discount or to have it remade. My wife said they should take it off the check. We got the check and it was only discounted 50%.Generally this is the absolute worst breakfast I have had in many YEARS. I would advise all other unsuspecting patrons (we didn't know better -- in from Chicago for the eclipse) to stay away from this place.Dietary restrictions: You can tell them about your restrictions but you might find as you’re eating (like we found out) that the thing you have restrictions/allergies to is still in your food. And the staff will be apathetic about it and not even apologize. Hopefully if you go into anaphylactic shock they at least bother to call 911

Service was horrible. Server took forever to do everything, they don’t bring you silverware unless you ask while you have an omelet to eat, coffee is trash, food is mediocre at best, we then asked for our checks and that took another 15+ min because our server decided to go do everything else first and never checked on us. Took 2 hours total for our experience for breakfast food. Don’t recommend this location at all.

Service was absolutely terrible, no silverware given, and the waiter was not attentive at all to the table. The bathroom was very dirty and no one seemed to know what they were doing.

Be on lookout when checking out and paying. The servers give you an amount type a bunch of stuff into their handheld device give it to you and then you automatically do a tip at percentage. I did the math in my head from menu and noticed my bill was 15 bucks more. I asked for an itemized receipt and what do you know? They charged us the “wrong tables items”. This was April 4th 2024 and we were one of 3 tables there. I’m not saying I’m 100% the server was trying to pull a fast one for a larger tip but yea, she was. I asked for a written receipt and she got mad and what do you know, the bill came down! Never visiting again, don’t trust the servers!

The restaurant was clean and our server was kind and attentive. What really ruined the experience was the 8-10 servers who congregated behind our table (near the prep station) and chatted with one another the whole time rather than tend to guests.I was disappointed that one of the servers kept swearing every few words within earshot of our toddler.Poor management and little to no training is my best guess.

Came to visit IN for a couple days and I am very happy I found this cute spot. As soon as I came in I knew it was going to be a 5 star experience. I had the surfer girl omlet, with the potato casserole recomended by my lovely waitress and a blueberry muffin. I was also delighted with their freshly swueezed orange juice. Will definitely return when I come to Indy.

The restaurant was bright and clean. We sat at the bar and the other customers there were very friendly. Our waiter was also very friendly and he checked on us consistently throughout our visit. The drinks seem to be made inconsistently. My blueberry margarita was very light in color and really lacked flavor. My drink was almost clear, but in the picture on the menu, the drink was a deep reddish/purple color. I don’t think they added enough of the blueberry compote to mine. Two people sitting next to me at the bar had also ordered blueberry margaritas, but their drinks had a lot more color and looked exactly like the picture on the menu. I think my margarita could have been really good if it had been made correctly. I would rate my margarita 2.5 stars out of 5. The iced vanilla latte (spirited) was much better, especially when the cream started to melt into the drink and added a little extra sweetness. I would give the latte 4.5 stars.I ordered the classic French toast. If you like sourdough bread, you’ll probably enjoy it. I really didn’t enjoy the sour/tangy taste, and ended up wishing I had ordered something else. I prefer sweeter French toast. It was cooked perfectly, but I was hoping the French toast batter would be sweet enough to balance the tanginess out. But it still had a very sour after taste with each bite, that I just didn’t enjoy. I just think a different kind of bread would be better suited for French toast. I would give the French toast 2.5 stars. The scrambled eggs and bacon were both really good, 5 stars. My boyfriend got the bourbon chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it.There was no soap in the men’s or women’s bathrooms and it was only 11 am. Not sure how customers or employees are supposed to wash their hands with no soap.Overall, I’m glad we tried this place. If we ever come back to Indianapolis, it’s possible we would go back and try other menu items. But there are so many other breakfast options in the area, that it probably wouldn’t be at the top of our list.
