Holy moly! Just tried Famous Hotboys Chicken in Fountain Square and it is LEGIT!! It was BY FAR the best food I have had in a long time. Great atmosphere, great service. They just opened in a location in Carmel too…go try it!!!

Everyone is as super cool. I got the Sando and it was amazing. I was so impressed with how the flavor didn’t stop and was consistent throughout. I did the medium plus heat because i like spice and I won’t have a problem moving up a stage or two. This spot is a must try. We even came in 10mins before close and our food came out hot and fresh like it was the first order of the day. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends.

Ok, so I'm not a chicken person. It's not that I dislike chicken. I just think it's boring. It's not something I'm ever going to go out of my way to get, so every time my friend suggested this place when we were trying to decide on food, we'd shut him down. Like it was almost a joke. I get it. It's good, but it's chicken. Who cares. Until we finally tried it. It's not just good. It's stupid. Even the vegetarian in the group went crazy over the veggie sammich. It's STUPID good. I will often split that with her and I'm not a vegetarian. It's SO good. And their fries! Omg!! If you haven't tried this place, do it now. Just a quick warning. They don't play around with spice. I love me some spicy food, but THEY. DON'T. PLAY. So if you like spicy, start with training wheels. I know that sounds silly, but I'm serious. I like heat, but I tend to stick with southern because this is for real. I got the spicy one time with my son who also LOVES him some spicy chicken and it is melt your face off kind of heat. Do what you want to do because you're going to anyway, but you've been warned. Atmosphere is really cool, but if you're looking for a quiet place to chat, maybe get it to go. Service has always been great. I think every time I go there, I order from the pretty lady with red hair and she's always wonderful even when I'm not. Really love this place.Vegetarian options: Get the veggies sammich. SO good and I'm not a vegetarian.Parking: Not a ton of parking, but more than most places in Fountain Square or downtown. I've never had an issue finding a spot in their free lot.Kid-friendliness: Idk. I brought my 20 year old and she loved it. I know other people were walking in with younger kids (young teens) and it seemed fine. I think teenagers on up will definitely like it. Might be a tad over stimulating for younger kids and babies.

Quick service, very friendly, food was out quick and it was oh so good. The slaw was crisp and delicious. The chicken crispy and the perfect heat, I got mild. But the friends were the star of my show. I wanted more! Perfectly cooked, seasoning was on point and the aoli was a great addition. Can't wait to eat there again!

This place is amazing!! My husband and I were in town for supercross and had a break between events. We did online ordering and it was ready when we showed up. We’ve had hot chicken in Nashville and this is just as good. We had el guapo sandwiches. It was naughty in the best way. You needed extra pickles because this sandwich is rich. The chicken was crispy and moist and has the perfect amount of cheese sauce and pickles. I could have went spicier, I did mild+. The Mac and cheese was also delicious but could use a hint of salt, same with the slaw. The donuts were also tasty. The bag was filled with sugar. If you want to be naughty or indulge, do it here!!

Super duper. Just an all out bangin' time. Great late night meal, or fun place to stop in for lunch. Can be a little tight sometimes but not a bad thing. Beverage options are definitely a highlight as well.

Ghetto and delicious! Music was way too loud, they could've explained the menu better, and pretty expensive. However, the food made it all worth it. Spicy as hell!
