I'd go here all the time if they had waiters and waitresses.

Not an actual restaurant. Food comes in to go boxes, you get plasticware and condiments are in packets.

WELL! I haven't posted a review in a while but I HAD to leave a review for YOLK! I'm in Indianapolis for a layover then I have work the following day. I'm in a nice hotel with great restaurant options here BUT I'm feeling a bit lazy and would rather have breakfast in bed! So to my delivery app I go! I just want a simple breakfast, nothing fancy! I came across YOLK and I see the app is offering a buy 1 get one free deal! I've never capitalized on these offers but figured I can possible save one for tomorrow being as though I have a refrigerator in my room. Don't judge, life on the road! I decide on the "Yolk All-Star Combo" which offers Two eggs any style, two sausage links, two slice of bacon and a choice of two pancakes, two crepes, two slices of french toast or a half waffle. When I add it to my cart the app doesn't give you the option to select two different options. You only can get two of the same exact things. I knew I wanted scrambled eggs but I didn't want two of the same carb options. I love crepes so I just selected them. I'm very picky about pancakes and never order them from restaurants that I'm unfamiliar with. But I decided to shoot my shot because I'm a shot taker and request in the notes section for one order with crepes and the other with pancakes. I'm not a fan of sausage links, would've preferred all bacon but I didn't want to push my luck with requesting that. WELL! When my food was delivered to my pleasant surprise they read my note and they obliged! When I opened my containers the food looked PERFECT! The potion was huge! It was plated with care which is not always the case for takeout/delivery! The crepes were beautifully folded and could not have tasted better! PERFECT! My eggs were beautifully scrambled with cheddar cheese. PERFECT! The bacon was thick and PERFECTLY cooked! PERFECT!!! NOW!!!! The sausage! Let's just say I'm glad I didn't ask for all bacon! The two sausage "links" were not the links I thought they'd be! They were thick gourmet sausages! They were so good! PERFECT!! And the pancakes! How did they know??? How did they know how I like my pancakes? They were thick, fluffy and light! That's a hard feat to accomplish but "YOLK DID!" in my DJ Khalid voice ! I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast! It was so darn good! I couldn't slap my Mama but I DID call the restaurant, told them what an excellent job they did and that I have not been this happy with a food delivery in a long time. 100 stars for YOLK!

I ordered some very delicious salmon and avocado toast, the salmon and vegetables felt very fresh, what I didn't like was that it was only for takeaway, we couldn't sit inside to eat, I didn't understand why not.

I ordered a salad. The ranch tasted like straight mayonnaise, there wasn't any dill in it or salt. Made my salad gross and soggy.UPDATE: Then the owner replies and tells me they use regular ranch and its my fault the salad is soggy. I literally received 1 ranch and it tasted like mayo, not store bought ranch. I wont be ordering here again. I like ranch on my salad not straight mayo.

About a month ago, my stepdaughter was in the Bands of America that took place at Lucas Oil Stadium. So, while me and the misses were in town away from volunteering and the competition. We tried our best when we had time to see what this city had to offer. We just got done shopping from the Dollar General or DGX and wanted a bite to eat before heading back to our hotel. So we stopped in this brunch restaurant called Yolk. I've seen them before, just never have went before. She ordered a breakfast burrito, and I ordered "The Flame" w/ a added egg to it w/ mixed berries on the side. It was a bit of a wait, but that wait was well worth it. See, The Flame sandwich has some heat to it, and I'm not talking about popeyes spicy chicken sandwich type heat, I'm talking about some real fire w/ that added egg and the mixed berries. I'd tell you, that sandwich was absolutely delicious! Everything paired together perfectly. I even had to break character and tell the staff that I was a local guide for google and told them how delicious that sandwich was... I mean it, if I could rate them higher than a 5, I would! Fresh Berries. I mean... if we ever are back into town for whatever reason. I have to come back to the exact location and get the exact same thing. The only downfall was that we had to walk across the way to get something to drink because their coffee machine was down. Still, not a big deal. So, I highly recommend if you can stand a real spicy breakfast sandwich, come here and order what I did. Get something to drink and sit down in the lobby and enjoy. Again, I highly recommend it!!

Shareable portion size and food so delicious. It was my first time going to Yolk and the person taking my order was so patient and polite to walk me thru her menu favorites. I ordered a chicken bacon sandwich with smashed . It was MASSIVE. Not knowing the size I also ordered a side salad (gotta get in the daily dose of veggies ) salad was typical and unnecessary because again the sandwich was so filling. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the dirty chai which is about personal preference, it was very heavy on the cardamom so the "spicy" flavor wasn't to my liking but may be great for other folks. Definitely want to try the breakfast items! I feel like the whole menu is a must try

This morning I ordered breakfast from Yolk downtown. This is the Caprese Eggs Benny, it was delicious! English Muffins topped with pesto, tomato , perfectly poached eggs, mozzarella and a very nice hollandaise sauce. I picked it up and it was piping hot. Two hours later I got a very nice thank you email for my order. If you have never eaten at Yolk, I highly recommend it! Their menu is very good and they have something for everyone!

My husband and I happened to be in the building for a meeting and decided to get carryout from Yolk for lunch. I ordered a Yacht Club sandwich with a side of onion chips and a cup of chili. My husband ordered Corned Beef Hash & Eggs with a side of pancakes. I also got an Oat Milk Horchata and we ordered a Nutty Monkey Cake to share. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was pleasant, although no one knew why the dining room wasn't open. Our food was made in a timely fashion and was still warm when we got home. The Horchata was really cozy and good, though I wish I'd known to stir it before I drank it. The last few sips were all coffee and no horchata. Noted. The sandwich was huge and I could only eat half. The onion chips were an awesome switch from French fries. There was so much food that I haven't even tried the chili yet. My husband loved the hash and pancakes. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the Monkey Cake, because they didn't give it to us, which was a real bummer, hence the four stars instead of five. I do recommend this place and would definitely go back, but would probably check my order before leaving next time around.

I was pretty disappointed, honestly. I had "fresh" fruit with my order that was moldy. With my Red Velvet French Toast (which, ok, those were amazing), some strawberries were brown from seemingly sitting out too long. Definitely not worth the amount my meal costed.

The food was not as good as I’d hoped it would be, and it cost a bit too much to not be very good. The oatmeal was just ok, and I added fruit but it added no flavor. Not sure what that means, but even the brown sugar got lost in the plainness of the oatmeal. The chai tea tasted watered down. I’m picky about my chai teas though so that’s a high expectation they just didn’t meet. I paid too much for food I didn’t enjoy but was looking for breakfast as a tourist so that comes with the territory sometimes. The staff were friendly enough and the location was easy enough to find. The rest of the menu had good looking options, but the prices were high.

The food was unique and delicious! It's a little expensive (especially for a student), but with their $5 singles it's pretty affordable. I got the red velvet french toast and it was great!

They where only open for cary out and they didn't really seem to want and do that. FYI.To bad I was looking forward to trying it.

The food was cold, the website was difficult and didn’t place all my orders, manager didn’t even address me about the issues, etc.
