I had this outside Baxter bar in the highlands. It was a good truck. The service was great and fast. The food was fresh and plenty of flavor. The Mac n cheese chicken bowl was a definite win and I’d eat here again. The owners had wonderful customer service

Amazing Food! My workplace had some food catered and I ordered the pulled pork burrito with Mac-N-Cheese. It was incredibly delicious. The Mac was INSIDE the burrito and it had cheese and bbq sauce on top. I was so impressed with the flavor I brought my husband to the restaurant for dinner the next day!The restaurant staff, Michael, was very personable and informative. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great dinning experience. I tried the deviled eggs and the spicy cheese curds this time around. (The Cheese curds definitely have quite a kick, if you like spicy food, I’d definitely recommend). My husband and I will be sure to visit again.

My wife recently had a corporate lunch catered from here and swore we had to come here. This weekend we did and A***** did not disappoint. I had a smoked brisket burrito, smothered in cheese and barbeque sauce and it was fantastic. The spice level was perfect, the texture juicy and the taste delicious. My wife shared her deviled eggs and cheese curds as well, both fantastic as well. Staff (Mike) was super helpful, offered recommendations, got our food to us as quick as possible and was more than willing to make fixes when there was an issue with our order. We will definitely be coming back again and probably get dessert too!

The pork, chicken & brisket is top tier! Their new smoker they have has brought their food to the next level. As a regular I suggest everyone who’s had a bad experience with food quality to give it a second chance!12/10 will always be down for A****

A***** used to be our favorite BBQ restaurant in the area and we were regulars. We went to the new location today and it was a huge disappointment. When our food came out in a carryout boxes, instead of the previous nice plating, we knew it was not going to be good. The only good thing I can say about the experience was the potato salad is still very good. They no longer have wait staff and now take orders like a fast food restaurant. The menu items have less choices, and the ribs were dry and tasted awful, the sauce was not nearly the same and watered down, and the drink machine wasn't working. I felt like we paid way too much for less service and poor quality food. The previous location was nice and inviting, and the food was outstanding, but the new location at the car auction site is like eating at an over priced, glorified cafeteria.

Delicious, affordable, and innovate! These guys were the best vendors at Abbey Road on the River by far. Great guys, great prices, even better food. Shoutout to Michael for continuing to hook it up!

I always order the Brisket dinner. Not everyone knows how to do brisket. I was happy to find this place. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with sauce already on it and if you want it (ordered through delivery app for pickup) you have to pay like 30 cents or so per sauce cup. That’s not how we do it in Texas, but it’s alright

Tried to eat here on a Sunday at noon and the door is locked and no one is there. No sign on the door.

Never been to a BBQ place that charges for BBQ sauce! Had the chicken, pulled pork and brisket tacos. They were ok but needed sauce. They were to expensive to be adding 50 cents for BBQ sauce at a BBQ restaurant. Was our first time there and the waitress didn't even offer to let us have a little for our tacos. Really how much BBQ sauce can you put on a taco? After spending $30 for lunch wewon't be back.

Absolutely terrible service. We stood there to make an order for almost 15 minutes watching as each worker passed by and never acknowledge us, they sat tables of people who came in after us, they took calls and helped people on the phone without ever saying a word to us or the man behind us. When we finally left a worker says "I didn't know they hadn't been helped", she was the one standing in front of us since the moment we walked in and got drinks for people who sat down after us and took the phone call to help customers on the phone before the ones standing in front of her at the register. We walked out without food, no apology... just an eye roll and attitude. Will not be returning, and will be encouraging others to stay away as well.

Aside from me being ever so clumsy and knocking over my pink lemonade.. the food was amazing! Brisket was extremely tender, melt in your mouth delicious! The smoked chicken was really good too except the texture was weird to me. Nothing against the food. I am just odd. Potato salad was awesome as well as the baked beans, mac and cheese and the sweet potato fries. Definitely going back again!!

Ran by here on my way back from out of town. Looking for some wings for the football games, for takeout. So that's all I got. .99 wings on Sunday! Pretty reasonable. Smoked and dry rubbed with a variety of sauces to choose from. They were good. Not the best I ever had, but definitely hit the spot!

Let’s set the tone…you walk in from a blustery January day in the low 30’s to a facility warmed only slightly above freezing to discover you are the only patrons inside at 6pm. That’s the first bad sign. Second bad sign is discovering that you have to pay for BBQ sauce…at a BBQ joint! Server was friendly enough. Her and the Pepsi were about the only highlights of the visit. Partner opted for a onion petals app, which was very different to the eye than most places. After the initial shock of how dreadfully salty the batter was (and I’m a heavy salter!) we came to quickly discover that they apparently don’t bother peeling the onions before slicing them. We pulled multiple quarter and half dollar sized pieces of onion peel from the pieces we were brave enough to try since our server kept us supplied with drinks to keep the high blood pressure inducing petals down. I eventually waved the white flag and pumped my brakes. I opted for a pick three combo, which is my go-to sampling at any BBQ joint. I’m a big guy and a BBQ lover, so they go hand in hand. I got the baked beans and potato salad as my sides and pulled pork, pulled chicken and ribs as meats. Comes with a grilled piece of texas toast (un uttered and uncomfortably dry). The beans were decent. Your typical food service can of baked beans with some meat chunks and a sprinkling of seasonings thrown in. The potato salad (I know, this is one of those highly debated and subjective side items) was, well, just strange. It was a white potato salad. I think they were going for ranch, maybe? The ranch flavor was missing though, and oddly enough, it had a strong taste of cream cheese? I’m not willing to say it was awful, that would be unfair. It was, strange, at best, however. I wouldn’t have it again, let’s agree on that. Now to the meats. The pulled chicken was dry, coarsely chopped and no care given to the process of being pulled. It had apparently been tossed in a dry rub that would have been better suited in a coffee filter for a cup of Joe. It had a strange, burnt taste, one with notes of moldy tree bark and broken dreams. Deplorable. On to the pulled pork…it has a flavor almost as if it has been “smoked” in an oven with a wet pan of wood chips, again, moldy wood. It also, was dry, and no care given to the pulling process. Seasoning was absolutely absent on the pork. The only thing really present in the taste profile were that of the aforementioned moldy wood and tears of failed pit masters broken dreams. Lastly, the ribs. I only called these ribs because of the fact there was a cylindrical shaped bone present in an overseasoned and “smoked” piece of meat. That was the only thing indicative that it was a rib at a place which has its claim to be a smokehouse in its name. The ribs had roughly 1/8 inch of caked on dry rub that was quite obviously added post-cook. It was as if you took a spoonful of dry rub and ate it with a bite of meat. Add to that, the dry rub tasted like charred coffee, expired paprika and dried chilis that had been left on a sizzling desert Highway to be ran over by vehicles for a week and crumbled up, it just wasn’t enjoyable. I actually had to saw, with the classy plastic knife they give you, to cut a bone off this rack of ribs. Once I managed to splinter the meat apart, I quickly discovered that these ribs must have come off of something apparently required no blood to live, as there was ZERO moisture present, and there’s no way they could have over cooked them in a smoker, as they were not smoked, or if so, certainly not done so with any level of care. Pros: Sweet bourbon bbq sauce was a 7 out of 10. Carolina gold sauce was pretty legit. I actually bragged about it. Perhaps this was simply based off the fact it was the only thing deserving of a decent compliment. Perhaps it was the only reason I was able to choke down some chicken and pulled pork and fill my stomach somewhat. Portion sizes, especially for a sampler, were pretty substantial. Probably not hard to give such large portions when you’re likely throwing so much away every night due to lack of

Very nice and comfortable feel to the decorations and design of the restaurant. Food on the menu read good. Unfortunately that’s the furthest my wife and I got until the experience turned horrible. I order Wings and ribs pick 2, the young lady waiting on us ask what sauce I would like and (as first time customer) I asked if they had any sweet and spicy type BBQ sauce. She very impatiently said no and pointed to a sign listing the sauces. I then asked could I please have a small container of the 2 I was considering so that I don’t get my food covered in sauce that I don’t like. She then said no but I can get you a sampler of the sauces for your ribs for $2ish. That was fine I told her. Then she asked what sauce for your wings. I replied that’s why I’m getting the sauce sampler to see which sauce I want. Then very rudely she spit out the whole list of sauces again. I then had to explain to her (again) this was my first visit so I’ve never had any of them so I would need to try a couple from the sampler sauce. She than said OMG and walked away. She served everyone in the restaurant and left us sitting for 20mins. She comes back smiling sarcastically and states have u figured out what sauce you want or should I go serve others again. I then asked to speak with the manager and she proudly stated there is no manager. I asked when he/she would be in and she said he is having truck issues and it would be weeks. My wife and I decided not to eat there. That young lady was so very short and rude, my wife and I lost the opportunity to enjoy a meal at what “seemed” to be a nice BBQ spot
