Love these little independent ice cream/comfort food places. Had the fish basket and it was pretty good. Looking forward to sampling more of the menu.

Good food at even better prices!! Daily specials are always good! Generally always a little busy. Sometimes understaffed, I'm sure not by choice. The wait is worth it's weight in gold!!

Employees were friendly and polite, food was like home cooking not fast food.
Boy, I wanted to love this place. I travel some for work and pass through small towns all across the US, I look for "greasy spoons" like this all the time. Well, the roast beef was like warm, the potatoes were most probably from a box, and I found a hair in my burger. The staff wasn't rude, but they weren't what I would call nice either. Just not friendly. The burger was very good, well worth the $3 I paid for it. I could have done without the hair though.....

I'll stop in there all the time to get a milkshake.They have a daily special, it's something different everyday, one day it's meatloaf and mashed potatoes, another day it's their amazing homemade barbecue and french fries.Fridays they have two piece fish and two sides for $9.Hard to beat that deal for Friday night meal.Kid-friendliness: They have hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries and onion rings for kids.

if i could rate it a zero i would. i found hair in my food i think that’s all i need to say, and ironically it looked pretty golden. i’ve always loved this place since my childhood visits here, but now i don’t think i can eat here anymore. the environment was also not the best. the tables had ants on them. the inside of the building smelt bad. and it didn’t feel clean.

Would love to be able to rate this place higher it’s such a nice locally owned spot but it just doesn’t feel very clean. The food is mostly microwaved/reheated but the ice cream is good. The people working there seem amazing and will do anything to make you happy. I want to like it so much I just can’t bring myself to eat here anymore.
