Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. Our food was completely bland. I was disappointed by the gumbo, as I was expecting lots of spice and flavor, but it felt like mush in my mouth and tasted unseasoned. I’ve had much better experiences with food in the Louisville location, so I’m not sure what the difference is. I will happily report the service was great and our waitress was very nice and attentive. We were seated by the window with a lovely view of the river. Sparkling clean restaurant and generous food portions, the food is just unfortunately VERY bland.

I really loved the view of the river and cross the river the view of downtown Louisville. Far as the food it’s ok the crab cakes has no crab whatsoever in it. My rice in my bowl was disgusting and mushy. The best thing I had was the fried green tomatoes. The barge was enough to feed 3 people. The food could’ve been seasoned better. Our waiter was really nice.

Food was excellent our waiter was awesome. He made sure we had drinks when we needed them and went above and beyond. We ordered the barge me and my fiancé loved it we even had enough for lunch for the next day. Not everyday you can have two meals for one price. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Awful, from the moment we walked in we felt unwelcome. We had a party of 9, and as soon as we walked into the host rolled his eyes, and started causing a scene. The placed had 10 other customers in total in the building.On our way to our seats we see the manager, and two servers pointing at our party, and whispering more than likely at about us. Employees look so drugged out it’s unreal. Absolutely unprofessional from the host to management.This place used to be a good place to eat. And enjoy time with family. Pretty safe to say we won’t be back.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It is on the Ohio river with beautiful views of Louisville. The food was delicious and very reasonable.
I had high hopes for this restaurant! I should have read the reviews My family in Louisville suggested this place on the Ohio River. Whelp, the view is nice! The food was a major disappointment! Everyone, no matter the order was not satisfied with their meal. The clam chowder was watery and tasteless! The Louisiana gumbo not a hint of Cajun/Creole seasoning. The green beans like they just dumped them straight from the can. The catfish greasy and salty. Even the fries were undercooked. The cod like cardboard and the coleslaw indescribably bad. Just keep driving if you see the Kingfish! You will regret this dinner choice

Food was excellent this time. Sit in bar area. Service is not as good as the dining area. Salad came out with no crackers or hush puppies. Before appetizer, which was a rolled oyster with no sauce or garnish. And was served with meal seafood platter. Had to ask for tartar sauce and seafood sauce. Had to ask for hush puppies . None on platter either. Never received seafood sauce. Water was handed over bar twice instead of delivery to table.The advantage is that food comes out faster
