Wow. Now THIS is some good food. There are plenty of places that do "street tacos", but La Catrina gets it right. Very delicious. And the wait staff was super friendly as well. If you're walking the big four bridge, stop by and give them a shot.

So far I have been at 3 Mexican restaurants here in Mew Albany. The Catrina is my number 3 , I'm from Mexico and always expecting to find the authentic Mexican flavor with good home made salsa so far is service was good though and the music.

Came here a few weeks back for my daughters birthday. Ordered the kids chicken tenders and fries and omg it was amazing, flavorful. Ordered Mexican corn sooooo good and tacos delicious. Churros were amazing. Only thing I’d say is the price but it’s definitely worth it because everything was so flavorful and fresh. Joe was a great host. Will be returning soon.

We stopped in for a quick bite and beverage and ended up ordering more and more food! Started with the Chicken Tamale for appetizer to share, then ordered the La Catrina and Fuego tacos! La Catrina was top 3 best shrimp tacos I have ever had! The bacon sealed the deal! Also had their chips and guac! Can't wait to come back during warmer weather and sit outside!

When we first walked in it was empty. We waited a little while and finally someone came to sit us. At first I was really nervous for the food based on that. Oh my gosh this place ended up being awesome. They sat us upstairs where more people ended up being. We also saw a little paper sign with a hand written note saying Fridays and Saturdays you can get a tall top shelf margarita for 9 bucks. The drinks were phenomenal. The margaritas were super sour and delicious! They were strong. I got the nachos, and they let be substitute the meat for their zucchini's. Definitely without a doubt the best nachos in this area that I've had. The tacos looked okay that my friend ordered. The burrito my other friend ordered looked really good. Everybody liked their food. I'll be back here for sure.

Usually love this place. Ordered from DD and I have been feeling nauseous a few hours after eating. The quesabirria tasted kind of off and had a lot of fat in the meat. It was also very soggy.

First time eating at this location. Everything was as expected great service and atmosphere. The food was also excellent the only reason I gave 4 stars is I thought their cheese dip was a bit to runny and could have been thicker even though the taste was good.

The other reviews that mention bad service are spot on. The food isn't bad but certainly not worth the hassle.

My FAVORITE summer spot, service is absolutely over the top, love the decor and ambiance, the vibe of the whole place is so exciting. Been here about 15 times over the course of their opening. Definitely a regular by now lol. Trust me when I say their drinks are the best I've had all over town!!! Especially the Mexican mule with extra limes ;)

The thing about this places is that every time I have gone there's been some significant issue: could not pay cash one time because they didn't have any cash to make change; waiting 45 minutes for a small simple order; and I ordered online, but it wasn't ready when it was supposed to be and then it took ten minutes more for the manager to come out and tell me there was no chicken, so I ended up with beef, and had to wait and extra twenty minutes for the order. Drinks are small, portions are small for the price, and a food truck about three blocks away has better service and better food. It is a pretty restaurant, and most of the seating is outside.Parking: You may need to use street parking a block away and walk. There is a parking lot right across the street, but at peak times it stays full.

This is a very small place that serve more traditional Mexican food. They have a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff . There is little inside seating , but plenty of outside seating . They have a limited menu that is very fresh , but portions are small for the price you pay . No free chips and salsa, guacamole is good though . Not really our cup of tea.
