Burnt Fried Green Tomatoes all the while lacking the dipping sauce....they even missed the mayo I ordered on the side . The French onion soup bowl was a cup at best but that was just the first encounter with my order. Upon approaching the already incorrect order I noticed the non-melted cheese and the bread so soggy I thought it was either part of the broth or an e.coli red flag. Grindstone Charley's has really done a good job in grinding their stone. They've done an incredible job to wear the metal right down to where the only joy seems to be in the sparklers left behind. Starting to feel like I clearly held the stick too long.....only to endure the annoying 2nd burn in-between the fingers I used to hand over my money prior to the learning where and where/not I will be letting that happen again. Hope this helps.....PS: the burns are still healing and would like to thank my medical team for that.

Food was excellent. We we're seated in the bar area & we got our food. The bartender waited on us. She brought us our food & we never seen her again. But when I needed a refill on my drink , she never came by. When we we're ready to leave , she ask me if I wanted a refill . I never got my refill. So her tip was 54 cents. If she would of taken care of us , like she was supposed to do. Her tip would of been a real good tip.

I've loved and bragged about their ribs but tonight I didn't think they were very good. They weren't that tender, didn't have much sauce, and had small pieces of bones that I had to pick out of the meat.

The atmosphere seems very dated, almost a cracker barrell vibe. Some servers are professional and attentive, while others not so much. Lack of consistency on food quality. Depends who's cooking. Bar prices are extremely out of touch and overpriced. They consider basic brands top shelf. They do have true top shelf options, but they priced their bar drinks as if you're in an exclusive establishment. Ribs can be the best around some days. Steaks are inconsistent and very overpriced.

I went there for the first time. The fried green tomatoes were fabulous! My steak dinner was not bad but I was disappointed in how thin the sirloin was. It was overdone because of that. Overdone and a bit dry so that was disappointing. The service was good and it was nice & warm on a very rainy day. I would go back for the tomatoes again & just eat those as my entree.
