This is a cute little restaurant inside one of the old buildings lining Lincolnway in LaPorte, IN. We went here for the first time on Easter for brunch. I had the Monte Cristo, one of the best I've ever had! My fiance had the Pulled Chicken Hot Brown and said it was amazing. For drinks, I got an Easter Mimosa, which was perfectly sweet. He got a Hey Rhu-Barbie that he said was delicious. We were checked on by different people a few times; you can tell they care about customer satisfaction. We will definitely return!

I had such a good time eating brunch at @barebonesgastropub this morning. They have sincerely earned the title of a gastropub. I started off trying some beers from their tap which were Very Bery and Mr. T from @burnembrewing and Orange Cream from @2tomsbrewingcompany in Fort Wayne and that was my favorite one.Next, we ordered our food from their Brunch Menu which was the Breakfast Poutine with sausage, gravy, shredded potatoes, cheese, and a sunnyside-up egg atop. My friend had the Chicken Hot Brown with pimento mornay cheese, chicken, homemade biscuits, bacon strips, and a sunnyside-up egg atop.The food was phenomenally good and the service was top-tier. I'll definitely be back to try their weekly regular menu. Try them out guys and a special thanks to our bartenders Chloe and Charlie, you ladies are amazing!

Went in Jan 2024 with my wife and 2 friends. We all loved it. Between us, we had a soba noodle special, black eyed peas salad special, and the half chicken. Friendly, fast service, great food, and yummy Burn Em beers. We were texting before the night was over about returning.

Tristan was an excellent server and a better bartender. My wife rarely sees vodka gimlets on a menu and usually has to explain how to make it. It was already on the menu, and he made them very well.

We LOVE Bare Bones. This place is a gem in the town and brings some super excited plates to the table. The drink list is pretty long (maybe a few other options beyond beer) and the atmosphere is fun. We've only had great experience with the staff and it feels clean and fun. The food is just fantastic. Sometimes it can feel difficult to find some really exciting food around La Porte (tbh) and the menu here has some great food. The menu doesn't change very often, so it might be cool to see some new items, but can't complain about what they have.
