Old school Southern style BBQ. Very good stuff! By the time we got home my bun was pretty saturated with the amaze balls hot BBQ (beef) but the bun actually held up! It was sooooooooooo good! The pea salad was the best I have ever had. Close to what I loved in MS but way better. My friends had the platter and Mississippi nachos. They loved everything. We WILL be back!

The food was horrible. The fries were burnt, smelled badly and were very dry. The rib tips were overcooked, tasteless and generally not worth eating. Why is this place even open? I do not recommend it and need to shut down. Very disappointed.
Nice little place. Food was great. I had pork sandwich . A little too much sauce on the bun though. Had to eat with a fork. Maybe put less on sandwich and some on the side ? Fries were fantastic. My husband loved his fried bologna sandwich. Didn't know it would be cut so thick. Said it was super filling.
Was more than a little disappointed with the atmosphere of the restaurant, it feels like a couple guys who know how to make really good barbecue just found a cheap shopping through some tables in.That's not to say that the food is out is not outstanding, because it is. Would definitely recommend this place to take out, and depending on how much you prefer aesthetically pleasing interiors, you may or may not want to sit down in here.

If I could put 10 stars out of 5 I would! My fiance and I always get the pulled pork meal and buns! The potato salad wasn't our favorite but everyone has their own type. The meat is excellent! People are excellent! FRIES are excellent! Peaceful and clean dinning area! Mississippi Nachos are also our favorite and always excellent! Also I have tried their brisket and cheesy jalapeño corn bread! These both very highly recommended as well! Thank you Northside BBQ for the amazing food as always! I've been coming here for years and will continue!
Heard from a few people that food here has gone down hill. They were right. Got a gift cert to there from the local radio station & the brisket was way over done very dry, & the stuffed baked potato tasted like mold & was burnt on the outside & raw on the inside & pork was dry. Won’t be back.

Our first time trying bbq here, and now they’re stuck with us! Everything was fresh and delicious.The meat on my ribs fell off the bone and the bbq sauce was very rich in flavor.Parking: Big parking lot to park
Just not very good bbq. Brisket tasted more of a reheated in an oven brisket, dry, tasteless and very bland. No smoke ring. More of a liquid smoke taste...
