We don't have time for a date night often, but 501 was just right. We stayed long enough to enjoy marrow bones as an appetizer, risotto for a main course, and sticky toffee carrot cake for dessert. Service was friendly, and food was just right.

The drink was good and dessert was good! I got the burger, was not expecting the burger to be blackened. Even though it was medium the burger itself was burnt tasting on the outside. Maybe that was my mistake for not reading the menu enough or maybe that’s just the style they do. My boyfriend didn’t mind it. The saffron solo wasn’t my favorite either just tasted like an artificial Smokey flavor. However the creme brûlée was amazing and I do see myself getting that again. The drink was very good as well. If I go again I just see myself maybe sitting at the bar and getting a drink, appetizer and dessert instead of a full meal. The waitress we had was super nice as well. So I’d say 3 stars for the actual meal but because of everything else and the service I’m doing 4 stars.

We went here for brunch while in town for our mother's memorial. It was so amazing that we purchased a gift card for the person helping us with arrangements as a thank you. The food was delicious and the staff on top of everything to provide quality service. If we are back in town again, this will be a stop.

Let me start by saying, I NEVER give full stars. It has to be life changing for me to do this. I cannot explain how insanely good this restaurant is. I had the NY Strip, it was actually one of the most delicious thing I have eaten in my entire life. I also tried the duck it was incredible. I don’t understand how this restaurant exists in a place like West Lafayette, it felt like a fever dream. Every bite I took was shocking. It was wow.

We came as a couple for Sunday morning to brunch and were amazed with the quality of the food, location, and service. We ordered pancakes and a breakfast burger and eggs Benedict, and it was all so worth it! The portions were also very satisfying compared to another location just up the street. Cannot wait to return!
Me and my partner come here every so often and always sit at the bar and order drinks and meals. Most recently we stopped by today for Valentine's Day. I just have to commend the bartender (same one every time we go), and especially tonight. Despite how packed it was, he was just amazing and continuously gives us exceptional service. Especially enjoyed the Love Bomb drink he came up with for today, and the cherry dessert!

Bistro 501 is definitely at or near the top restaurant in the Lafayette area. Their Sunday Brunch is absolutely incredible and it has some of the top servers in the area to match its stellar reputation. I would recommend that you plan ahead a week or two to make your reservation . You will definitely not be disappointed.
