This company is a complete scam!! Bought a brand new Rancilio Silvia grinder and espresso machine and the espresso machine never worked once since I bought it!! Also took customer service over 6 months to check it out and then it came back worse than before. Please do not buy anything from this company, they will steal your money!!

I went and ordered a large latte. The girl put whipped cream on top and then some other women scooped it off into the sink when she saw her mistake. I kindly told them that I can't consume that because of the sugar. She snub nosed me and poured milk into a cup, added espresso and handed it to me. I took a sip and said this isn't a latte. Another woman said "yes it is." I said "lattes are frothy." She then argued with me and said "they weren't and that I was thinking of a cappuccino." If you Google a latte, it's says the big brother of the cappuccino and even smoother and frothery. They don't even know how to make drinks and argue with their customers. What if I was a diabetic? The attitude and lack of knowledge was rediculous.

When I first received my kettle in late 2020, I was delighted. This was the most I had ever invested in a tea kettle, and it was gorgeous. Since then, I am very disappointed in the kettle and cannot get any help from Richmond Kettle Company. Despite proper care, the kettle "sheds" a lot of dust/ashy residue from the bottom of the kettle onto our counter and even in our tea at times. There seems to be nothing we can do to prevent this. Today, however, the kettle came completely apart. See picture. This kettle is meant to last a lifetime. About a year ago, I wrote JL Hufford, where I purchased the kettle, to ask what can be done. They directed me to Richmond Kettle Company, the manufacturer. But I have heard nothing back from the company. It's one thing to spent a lot on a kettle and not get your money's worth; it's another if there is a chance that my family has been ingesting something bad for our health. Extremely disappointed in this brand and believe JL Hufford should not be carrying it.

Ordered 2 glasses online via their Amazon storefront. Glasses were received poorly packed - 1 broken & 1 chipped. Support/Customer Service still has not responded to me concerning my return for exchange request. Ended up sending the broken items back via the Amazon process. Will see how long it takes before I get replacements.

UPDATE: changed this review from one star to three stars after receiving a response to a negative social media post I initiated concerning this purchase. The current follow-up seems promising, and the person who responded via social media from the company was very kind. And I did eventually receive an email response after a second email message was sent today.UPDATE 2.0: Added one more star. Replacement products received very quickly and packaged appropriately as to prevent breakage.

Jl Hufford coffee and tea co owns the Discover Gourmet. I bought a frying pan for 143.00 dollars. It was Heritage Steal . Everything stuck to true fryi g pan so I returned it. Nowhere they did not return my money and kept my frying pan. I'll bet they will try to sell it as new to someone else. Had no way to warn people about Discover Gourmet but since it is owned by JLHufford I felt that I should do it here so the owner knows what happened and refunds my money. They can't keep true fryi g pan and the money when it cost 143.00 dollars.
